Train to Stone Crossing (from sidcup), X80 across the water to Lakeside and then the 372 to Thurrocks ground getting off at the Hotel, walking down hill and ground on your right. Each leg of the journey is no longer than about 15 minutes.
Sure to have a decent wings following, the famous fleet burger must be sampled.
Lets get plenty of people there and making loads of noise and getting behind the lads, we normally outnumber the home support so lets get even more there.
We will need to be on form to come away with a good result, i'm sure our boys will be up for this and start well.

You can also get to Chafford Hundred station which is next to Lakeside. Or use that to get back to London after and back to Welling as the last X80 leaves Lakeside for Dartford at 5.25 but you should make that easy as Lakeside is a few minutes from Ship Lane where the ground is.
If you are umming and arring over going... go for it and get behind the boys today.
Hopefully someone will post updates, if not i will try and remember to get teams up and half time and full time.

I watched all Chelmsford players, coaches, manager and directors casually walking along the Eastbourne seafront this morning, some eating ice creams - seemed to have worked.

Bringing the spirit of Ransom to our play-off efforts!
We looked comfortable today after conceeding aginst the run of play. Dont know how many corners we ahd in the first half but must ahve been well into double figures.
Difficult to choose MOTM but Faz and Loick must be running close. Ben Martin also had a good game
Martin was commanding today he had their players in his pocket and they never got out of it.
We were ok early then they scored then we were hoofing it instead of relaxing. But we played some nice stuff got in control cruised clear then switched off a bit.
Good performance, fantastic result and good fightback.
Keep it up, nice rest till saturday then Woking game. Should be a cracker we are looking so lethal and when we turn it up a notch we really turn it on and end games.

Due to Mrs Rob booking holidays, yesterday was my first game of season (missed start of season and Oval test !!) and first I want to thank all for their updates on here for keeping me informed when away, it really is much appreciated.
Really enjoyed the game yesterday and thought some of our passing and movement really was top class. Great to see so many of our fans there too, teams must love the way we boost their gates, particularly Thurrock.
Saturday should be a great game and hopefully another win for the lads
Actually made it yesterday. Cracking display from the Wings, Thurrock had hardly anything to give us in return. Fair to say their goal was against the run of play, but gave us the kick up the ar*e we needed (although we really should have been 2 up beforehand). Nice little 'Hand of God' by Pires too (I was by the goal and heard a slap!), but considering they should have lost a player, evens out.
Other points..The Fleet burger is superb, probably taken 30 minutes off my life expentacny but so what! And cracking work on the chants this year, am especially liking the use of Joy Division and Tears for Fears too.
Big game Saturday, which I can't make, but we play like that on Saturday, no reason we can't tear Woking apart like my athletics mob did in our last match.
