Thanks Graham - dreading it was the following week-end as I have booked my sons birthday party for the evening and it would have been a nightmare to re-arrange
Great Draw they average about 11-12,000 75% of that will see Welling net 60k ish! at average prices of Ł18 plus the 17k they already have plus gate receipts from the FA Cup
I reckon about 300-400 Could be more, Could be Less Depending if the Club can sort a cheap Coach or Train price. Looking best part of Ł100 for Travel/Entry and food and drinks, God knows how many we took to Swansea, their were coaches and Coaches. I heard over 100 went to Dorchester (Fairly Long trip) for the last round. Minimum 250 i reckon. Tell your lot to turn up as the Wings fans like a sing song and outsung Reading and Swansea away. The Wings fans have a supporters team too. do your lot?? Contact them at wie@winningisnteverything.net FAO Russ.
What happened to your lot yesterday?
Where should Wings fans drink near ground? Or will the Bar be open behind the Away End?
What are the clubs like on a Friday and Saturday?

There's plenty of night life in Huddersfield on Friday's and on the day of the match there's plenty of away fan friendly pubs and clubs within 10 minutes of the ground.
In fact you could choose any pub bar the Crescent which is in the Town Centre..
We have become a very friendly club and i'm sure 99.9% of our supporters will welcome your club and supporters with open arms.
We also have a supporters team called the Netterriers ,i'm sure they'll accomodate a game as well.
The away end holds about 4000, so you should just about be able to get a seat!
I'm sure you lot will have a good day out no matter what the score is. Town fans are generally a good bunch. Gravesend came a few years back and I can remember their players and fans getting a standing ovation from us at the end of the match. So come up in your droves, mingle with us home fans, show us what lower division football can do, but please don't beat us!!
even though we are flying high in league 1 we are unconsistant itll be a big game for you lot and we might crumble under the pressure , but then again maybe not eh
what are the biggest teams youve had games against , cos they come no bigger than the mighty mighty mighty mighty mighty mighty town
Why stay in Manchester or Leeds! Huddersfield is a good night out. There's about 60 pubs, plenty of restaurants and night clubs in the Town centre. If you do come into Huddersfield before the game! most pubs are fine and you shouldn't have any problems, but dont go to the Cresent, thats where our hooligan element go. There are some decent pubs near the ground.
Hope you enjoy your day out!! so long as you dont beat us
without wanting to be a total titwank, I've been to Huddersfield and it has has the world's most beautiful train station..............
And a statue of some some dead Primeminister (not Blair, unfortunately,) just outside of it. It could be a good night out, but surely not just before the football?
There are loads of reasons to stay there over the weekend; healty air, Nora Batty types, solid working class blokes, it ain't Bradford, real ale etc. But here are 10 reasons not to:
1) It's near Bradford.
2) It's grim up north.
3) They put gravy on their chips.
4) The Beautiful South sold out their ground, even after supporting REM the week (Or something,) before.
5) They wear stripes.
6) Northerners are so friendly, we'll be positively rude when compared.
7) You can see countryside for atleast 40 mins before arrival at their station ( much more than at Dartford station!)
8) They think we're cocknies (sic)
9) On a black and white TV, it sounds like they're Sheffield Wednesday.
10) It's grand.
I love Huddersfield, I'm gonna get bladdered and do karaoke.
Yeah it will be great. Who's going? Lets see if we can take more than we took to Swansea and that was hundreds and hundreds. Who's going by train or driving and who's staying ovver before or after to get mullered?

Well done on the draw! I feel the Terriers should walk this one but remember when we we played Accrington Stanley on the BBC two seasons ago....they beat us 1-0 in injury time.
I've never been so insulted. We maybe tight, have a penchant for woolly animals and have a tendency for being slightly abrupt but I have NEVER put gravy on my chips.
I think you may be thinking of the other lot over the big hill, classing us with them is like calling you French

I'm more of a bare back myself........
I never knew you were tight, though.....
Who's over the hill, Bankrupt Bradford? If I don't get gravy on my chips there'll blue murder!!
It would be great to meet some Terrier fans on the night before, as when it is your home game, you are morally obliged to buy!!
