Well done to the Kent FA for bringing Charlton and Gillingham back into the competion, and to the clubs themselves. It does n't sound like it was very difficult. The new cheif exec just rang them up and said " would you like to enter a team?" and they said yeah all right. Not hard! Puts the old regime a the Kent FA to shame!
Hopefully the London FA will take note and invite the arsenals and chelsea's into the LSC. Worth a try they can only say no!

Think Gills sending reserves and youngsters according to their site, so good chance for us to progress and get a tie at Crabble which will allow further experience for the bench players. Lets hope we win tonight, no extra time and we are in the quarters and a couple of games away from a possible game with Charlton which should be a big crowd. Could be a nice little bonus having missed the fa cup money.
I'm sure our players will be up for it. and a decent tie awaits the winners.

Confirmation its young scholars and bench players from the weekend for the Gills...
bearing in mind Davisson and Tuna were given contracts at the Valley they would be above that standard, add in the rest of our squad and we should be looking to win tonight.
Highlights of a feisty game and interviews with Jamie Day and Jack Parkinson tomorrow.
Could/Should have been 4 red cards. Think their 11 and 9 should have gone with the flare up with Sammy who also could have gone, then for our penalty their 6 should have gone for the foul, actually Crouch showed him a red then gave him a yellow aswell thats a first...
Crouch was very leniant and slow to get in the game , i know its only kent cup but some decisions were weird. Cannot see how Payne stayed on then he scores when Crouch gives them a penalty... Can see why he hasnt shown reds but until we got our rightful penalty didnt think he gave us a lot.
Daisy introduced Jack Taylor at half time good to see we have kept tabs on him and we also introduced Jack Kensington who played in the FA Cup youth game and is from our Academy.
Craig Ross, Sambrook, Johnson, Day, Acheampong, Parkinson, Conteh, Clarke, Tuna, Cumbers, Healy were our starting 11 and Jacl Taylor came on for Sammy and Jack Kensington came on for the injured Conteh.
Tuna had a quiet game but then was instrumental in the goal so well done for persistance and proof if you keep going like Pires, things can happen.
Ben Davisson wasnt allowed to play as the Addicks want to play him against Bromley in the Kent Cup.
Pleased we won and thought Daisy led by example when we went behind and was the drive to get us at it which resulted in a good comeback.
We are now away at Dover Athletic in the Quarter Final.

How did Crouchy allow the game to start with them in Pink and us in Red?
Have to agree about the failure to produce red cards and Tuna was lucky not to have been booked for his antics on a couple of occasions with his blatant play acting to try and win a free kick.

Wait till you see Gillingham get a penalty... I kid you not it was a worse decision than the one on Saturday and that was the worst we had ever seen... You will LOVE this... Not sure Crouchy will...
Is there a directive to give toss awful decisions against Welling? 3 absolute horrific decisions in 3 games is appalling.

I have read this morning that Basingstoke charged £ 6 for a county cup tie last week. Also Maidstone v Dover (in the KSC) the price was also £ 6 yet us mugs (sorry fans) are made to fork out £ 12 for the privelege of seeing Gills yoofs/stiffs last night.
Before anyone says WDYPTC - it is too late to shut the door after the horse has bolted. However rest assured I will speak to BH about this the next time I see him.
The fans of our club have made massive contributions (both in time and money) in recent years yet we continue to be treated like s***

If he won't take action against assault, he won't book people for falling over.
I would have poss made it a fiver, done the deal in the bar ( i take it we had a lot left over from Saturday?).
Where things will change is when the Constitution comes in or CIC whatever, as the Fans will have a structured part of the club and a say and communication will be constant.
Sadly no real advertising of the Happy Hour for dorch game saw for the first time a poor turn out, proof you have to keep banging the drum for the music to play.

Fair point Mark.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression for county cup games the entrance fee was jointly decided by both clubs. If this is the case will be very interesting what Dover change.
hes pushed sammy over from behind and squared up.. then hes done THAT to Jack Taylor for their penalty... really wasnt impressed with his antics at all. Also watch their 7 who scores the own goal... at the second flare up pushing Clarkey after he himself had made a horror tackle...
Gills definitely liked a bit of argy bargy last night, Not sure if the first X1 are the same.
Good win for us particularly impressed with Jack Taylor playing in his 3rd position for us and the way his character shone after being conned for the penalty and let down by Crouch. Plus Daisy Clarkey and Healy standing up and protecting the Youngsters and Parky encouraging them. Really productive night for our Younger players.
Whats even funnier is Crouch sees Dack make a terrible tackle then he pushes Clarke, so Crouch books Healy after advice from his assistant in the 9 shirt... Classic.

Was good to see the older heads of our midfield tame the young lads who were throwing themselves about. Thought Parky was excellent last night and Jack Taylor done well along wit the other young Jack in midfield. Little dissapointed with Tuna though.
