That is the headline on the Huddersfield daily examiner. Manager Jackson has said that he will be taking this match very seriously and not putting out a LDV type team for this game, he will be fielding the strongest team he has available...........I still think the mighty WINGS can win by the odd goal...COME ON YOU WINGS.
I'm looking for a great FA Cup game just as our encounter with Gravesend & Northfleet a few years back was. We very lucky indeed to progress in the competition that year, scoring in the final minute to win 2-1.
As a life long 'Terrier' (46 seasons to date) such was the impression 'The Fleet' left with me that day I've continued to follow their progress (they were in the Ryman League at the time) into the Conference League. In fact, I've attended several games when they've played up t'north and made many friends in the process.
Obviously I want Huddersfield Town to win on Sunday (sorry) but I do know how much games like this can mean to fans on both sides. Our main aim this season is to achieve promotion into the Championship a place where I feel our great club belongs and while being beaten on in the FA Cup to a lower league club will be a blow to our ego, I'll get over it, especially if we gain promotion!
