Its rainy and windy up here in 'Gods own county' this morning, which will probably make conditions a bit tricky. Sadly high winds tend to spoil games at the Galpharm with the ball swirling around to much. Should suit you better than us I think!
My usual pre-match excitement is beginning to kick in. That unique match day feeling can't be beaten, regardless of who we're playing (no disrespect intended) but the FA Cup is special. Having said that, I'll state here and now I don't really care about this result, promotion is our aim this season but during the 90mins I'll be shouting and willing us on. Obviously, it's a big day for Welling Utd and given the history of the competition with giant killings etc. it's going to be tense.
But surely Welling Utd of The Conference South can't overturn the Mighty Huddersfield Town (Thrice League Champions and FA Cup Winners) can they?
Who Cares about the Mickey Mouse cup we want to win the league we need 3 points Tuesday,we have some tough league games coming up in the next week or so COME ON YOU WINGS!! LETS GET BACK TO WHERE BE BELONG IN THE TOP OF NON LEAGUE FOOTBALL!!
Incredible Support, we were good first 20 minutes, Che could have put us infront but for a great tackle. We went asleep and let Booth get a free header. Silly penalty in second half. Town were awesome around the box.Jamie Turner was superb, LEON SOLOMON was a star!! WILL PLAY AT LEAST LEAGUE ONE and just shaded JT as our star man. Shearer cost us the third but was good oher than that but great day. pics tomorrow plus Booths opener on video . Staying up here in hotel.WELL PLAYED WINGS. Thought the crowd was nearer 8000. Farnboro is important tuesday. Welling you did us proud. Our players, fans and Management were great. If Che had scored his one on one who knows. Great day. Terriers are a very good team, good luck in the next round! We got NOTHING from there ref. WERE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE!!

They were organised, they passed it, they had passion and above all they kept their shape, while under severe pressure. It was easy to see why you're doing so well in the Conference South and with any luck you'll be promoted in May.
Great to see Che again, a personal favourites, from his days with 'The Mighty Fleet' but all of your lads were absolutely superb! As were your fans! We chatted with many of them in the pub after the game and again were a total credit to your club. They walked tall and were justly proud of the team.
I'm deeply sorry you're out of the Cup but I'm sure promotion will more than make up for the disappointment.
Well the bbc get it right again, MOTD2 features the greedy league and nowt else. Maybe some contractual bs, but for the FA cup not to get even a mention, that beggars belief. Just suppose you guys at Welling had got a result up here and switched the telly to relive the glory only to see some pointless report from arsenals new stadium and a few overpaid prima donnas. Premiership my arse, another example of the money over the true nature and spirit of the game.
I got back in time to see the goals on Sky Sports News - all the goals conceded looked preventable but over 90 minutes they were always going to score. You can see why they are doing well. I thought that the lads were magnificant and our supporteres out sung them all match.
What time did all the coaches get back? We were on the first one that got back at about 8.30, I think. They told us that two of the coaches were still stuck on the M1 and the fourth one was somewhere arond Luton heading cross country.
I was on the coach that left last of all. We got back to the ground at about 21:30. So glad I opted to work from home today - that extra hour of sleep helped after such a long day yesterday.
