The Home local derby match tickets will be available from the ground OFFICE HOURS from next monday and all advance ticket holders will have a turnstile to use on the day to beat the queues.
This match IS NOT ALL TICKET, but people may want to get their Seats in advance to reserve seat and beat queues on the day.

I suspect this is being done to get the club some income during a period of nearly four weeks without a home game.
I think the situation needs clarification for season ticket holders though. If tickets are to be sold for specific seats, do season ticket holders need to get them? If not, we could arrive on the day and sit in seats for which tickets have been sold to somebody else.
I hope the club really make sure the large crowd will be catered for. Selling advanced tickets is a great idea but they also need to open all turnstiles at the Erith side, hire the Erith bar, another burger van, more programme selling points etc etc.
I would imagine they were also trying to address the issue that we had last year when the was a massive queue outside a few minutes before kick-off. There was a bit of criticism on here last season about the club's management of the volume of people wanting to get in. Seems like a step forward to me to cut down queuing time.

Too right Gary - we must make the most out of having so many people in the ground.

Ref Season ticket holders, I am off to the shop in a few minutes I will ask Barrie or Barry what the situation is and post back.
Have spoken to barrie and season ticket holders who want a specific seat are advised to phone the club. Alan s don't worry I will put resesved on ur seatp

Thats got to be one of the most sensible things I have read on the forum all year!
So, so valid points made by Gary - It ain't rocket science.
We must 100% push to open the E&B bar, other turnsiles, food stands etc - all very good points - Is it possible some one from WUSA can push these points across to the club to see what can be done? We have to make the most as Chelwing stated of having a BIG turnout, & reduce the Q's etc in & out side the ground & make some money!

I hope something is done as we have to make the most of the few big gates we get but I bet none of it is and it is the usual farce
id look at bringing in a burger van where the club profit from round the far side... not allowing teh current guy to stick another van in, Erith bar?? i cant see how that benefits us? we would get eff all out of that and just make the deres a fortune, an enlarged bottle bar could be a goer in the alcove.
Programme sellers and enough programmes are a good point, you will sell more programmes than pints. Lets make money for OUR Club not the tea bar guy and the deres.
Otherwise whats the point of doing extra stuff? NONE
You can hire burger vans locally, you can also ask to hire Eriths bar and put your own bar in down the other end. Its a great opportunity for the Club to make ****loads of money, to give people the opportunity to make money would be foolish. if Erith want to open then i would insist on at least 50% profit to us. Same with the tea bar guy if he wants to put another van in we want 50% of his profits on the second van for the day not £50 or £100.
We also need the tannoy sorted and tested before that day cos it will be a farce on the new side. A couple of wireless tannoys in the new stand with the sender in the main stand will sort this easily and cheaply.

with the erith bar it is just a simple case of getting enough supply to cater for the demand as our bar just can't cope with amount of people who want a drink before the game and at half time
just open it up and split the profits with e+b - it's easy and everyone wins including us welling fans who won't be able to get drinks unless it's open as the ground will be so packed
just a small bit of planning and it could be a great money spinning day for the club
The Welling bar can barely cope on a normal match day, let alone a derby of this magnitude! Surely, even if we had to split the profits, it would still make sense to open the E+B bar?
Dont open the e+b bar and there will be loads of people who cant get a beer. they might also think twice about going to 'big' games at pvr in the future if they think it cant cope.
ps ok then don't do anything about the game then and the club loses and let's be fair we all know that is what is going to happen and it will be the usual mickey mouse operation - no wonder the club is run so poorly when sensible suggestions are put on here and you get "LOL"

I think it is harder than just opening their bar....they may say no and that is the end of it.....I would at least get another burger van etc over the other side,,,,,,,we should all help with programme sales etc etc
Maybe we should start a list of things people are prepared to do on the day
To be honest my original post wasn't about the club making money (even though they should maximise revenues out of this) but more about not disappointing the fans, many of who will not be regulars. If fans are queuing for toilets, food, beer, programmes it sets a bad image. How many will come back? Even without making a profit the fans who are paying their entrance fee are entitled to half decent facilities. Let's get it right because so many times in the past we haven't.
Burger Van on erith side is great idea, Bar is easy enough to do just get them to do a stock take, then go halfs on the order for barrels and split the profits.
Could even let them go halfs on the food in burger van as good will gesture to them. Not looking to take the piss just make some money on a day where it should be easy to do so. Bottle bar in eriths bar too if possible?
Programmes could be sold from the entrance from the terrace to eriths bar aswell as have someone walk down the side of the pitch before the game.
We could really boost takings if we do it well and erith earn SOME too.
