Don't normal post on here nowadays but felt I had to say something about the appalling and vulgar comments from some welling supporters behind the goal. It was awful and gives the club a terrible name the culprits should be ashamed as they are all grown men and I'm sure many have families, I'm sure they wouldn't want there kids repeating what they said. Sorry for the rant but felt it needed to be aired.
To be fair their fans were swearing at our players and the ref, doesnt make any of it right and the video may have no sound tomorrow because of all the effing and blinding.
i think you make a fair point, but one of their mob after being congratulated by welling fans... waited for the wings fans to walk away and said what a horrible bunch of ******* welling are... nice.

Didn't think it was that bad today all things considered though wasn't right amongst it. Have heard much worse. Anyway who cares within reason what oppo officials think. Their team got lucky big deal.
Agree to an extent and I'm guilty myself at times. Didn't seem worse than at other home and away games but the sort of crowd and ground it was yesterday it no doubt came across more vocally.
Take kids to PVR, and like most standing grounds for the past 100 years, you do get more vocal fans behind the goal. Get in the seats or side terrace is my advice on that one.
Possibly the language was more intentional than good natured yesterday and it doesn't look good for the club but we do have a passionate away following. Perhaps we could calm it down a bit but I wouldn't want to lose any of the passion our loyal away following has.
If someone can't handle swearing at football matches then don't go at all or get an Executive lounge ticket, simple really. Or better still go to hockey or netball games instead where the language is probably more 'acceptable' :)

I can handle swearing, we all do that, but I draw the line when supporters are wishing opposing players get hurt. Surely thats wrong?
I am as guilty as the next man or perhaps more so at times and sometimes it gets the better of me.
I take my boys to games and as Gary H has said the best thing to do is to try the main stand where the language is more refined! However my boys want to stand behind the goal and, as a result, hear the bad language and, sadly, sometimes repeat it for which of course they get reprimanded.
However I am afraid they hear that language everywhere in this day and age. That doesn't meke it right but it is a fact of life and, at football grounds where crowds are smaller it is easier to hear what the crowd say.
