Updates during game. Feel free to post your thoughts, before during and after the game. I cannot see why people make Farnboro favourites, We have lost just one League game have one of the best defences and WILL go top when we win 3-1 with a Stadhart hatrick!.
Believe in it! No more of this oooooh lets finish top half bollocks, if we beat Farnboro and Weymouth we will be in a fantastic position. WE are at home and above Farnboro, let them fear us!

was talking to one of those which travel on the players coach and he said that were all knackered and heavy legged, to be honest i will be happy with a draw. If they are already tired get the draw today and then go down and spank weymouth, i think we have more chance of doing that
Thats not the attitude is it. Winners win, simple as that. If excuses are made before the game its easier to put in unacceptable performances. This is possibly the sternest test of the season the players simply must be up for this. 90 minutes hard graft on Sunday is not a reason they can go missing in a very big game. Win Tonight and it sends out signals to the League, come and get us! If we lose then theres another signal, come and beat us we will roll over for you. Playing Farnborough should be a hell of a lot easier than Sundays opponents.
Town's keeper sent off, Carruthers off for Welling too. Penalty to Welling..... Oooooooh Danny Kedwell scores from the spot. HAVE THAT!! Welling 1 Farnboro 0 latest.

Just spoke to someone at the game. Penalty was for a very ffy handball that was probably outside the area as well. Kedwell scored, when the ball rebounded out of the net Carruthers smashed it back hitting the goalkeeper in the face, who went berserk and flattended Carruthers. Both sent off, sub keeper on the bench has come on. He said all there players are about 5 foot 3 including the sub keeper which is hilarious as most ofours are 6ft 3!
Welling 1 Farnboro 0 GET IN THERE!! Well done to the players, put your feet up for a deserved rest then put it about about at Weymouth and kick their arses. A lot of you have won titles before, A win against a Weymouth side who 2 days later will play Forest on sky will put us in a great position.
FANTASTIC! a herculean effort after Sundays match at Huddersfield against one of the favourites for the Conference South who were larging it saying they would stuff us because we would be tired. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS WELLING TEAM!

Well done Welling, great result. We actually move down a position to 3rd on goal difference but we are all now 4 points ahead of 4th. Plus we got 2 games in hand!! UP THE WINGS!!!!
Great performance tonight. I had anticipated a much more difficult game than it turned out to be, especially since we had had a gruelling Cup tie on Sunday.
As far as the penalty goes, from where I was standing it looked a bit of a dodgy decision and judging by some of the players reactions they thought so too. However having been awarded it Keds made sure that we took advantage of it.
Silliness beyond belief followed the penalty and I would like to see what Ref put in his report. Carruthers, clearly overjoyed that we had scored, blindly belted the ball back towards the goal,an action which can be seen every Saturday, but unfortunately for him the keeper took the full blast of the ball and it all kicked off.
Couldn't hear who got the man of the match award because of the racket the Farnborough fans were making but it must have been a difficult call to make as there were good performances all round.

Good performance by Welling, in front a good crowd - hopefully an incentive for more to come to home games.
Not sure what the ref was on - Carruthers booted the ball back into the ball in celebration and hit the keeper in the face by accident. Keeper went for Carruthers but was beaten too it by their number 7 who knocked Carruthers over with both hands raised. Surely a yellow for the keeper (attempting to retaliate) and a red for the 7 should have been the situation?
And what happens with getting reds rescinded - surely this is the perfect case?
Great performances all round, esp. Leon Solomon who signed a contract before the game - great news. I though Mark Green done a very good job on the left, unfortunately I think Che still isn't match fit. Should have bought on Bod 10 mins earlier in my opinion.
