Good chance to improve our position as Woking are at Dartford that night and sure to be some points dropped by one of them. Also we can slam the door on basingstoke and go further clear from the teams chasing the play offs. Theres a huge gap between us and those in 6th and 7th and we can improve that with another win.
We did well there last season so should have nothing to fear, im sure they are mindful they have a hard hame on Tuesday.
COYW lets see a good reaction from saturday and really concrete our position in 2nd.

Important game as we could close the gap massively. Woking's 4-1 win over Sutton leaves 'em 9 points ahead, but we have a game in hand which if we win will take us to 6 points and then if we beat Basingstoke and Woking loose that same night to dartford so COYW and give em what we've got
No excuses now out of the main cups, defence still needs work but more than achievable. A tough four weeks coming up but could define where our season is headed - COYW!
Thats the spirit boys get behind them as a good spell over the next 6 games could see us really put the pressure on Woking and also go a country mile clear of those outside the play offs. We are SECOND in the league and a bloody good side.

They have Delano Sam York out and also a center half out. I guess we will go 442 or we push Tuna out wide right and play pugh cumbers down the middle.
Very interesting game, as this season we have accomodated the 3 forwards most games, tonight we get to see Pugh and Cumbers up top.
I think tonight we play football, no point lamping it up to Pugh and Cumbers, i also think when we do play football not many can live with our movement.

A great result tonight and we are going to have to repeat the winning habit over the next few difficult games if we are to remain within catching distance of Woking. Their next five games are against Thurrock, Farnborough (twice), Staines and Bromley, all of whom are in the bottom six. It seems likely they will drop few, if any, points from these games the way they are playing, so I think we will need to win four out of our next five games or they will be out of sight.
Daisy got the response he wanted, they all had each others backs. they all gave everything amd concentrated and had belief, Pugh was excellent and held the ball up really well , Cumbers tracked back and broke up plays, Stella had a good game. They all played well, The new lad from Gills played competently and didnt look out of place and slotted in well. Cant remember Basingstoke having a decent shot on target, we also hit the post from Pughie and the Crossbar from Daisy.
Huge game, and huge 3 points, we will go into saturday in great spirits. Great performance from the lads and we played decent football and bossed the game.
Also well done to the boys for not reacting to some quite disgusting language from the small group of home fans behind the goal.
Interview with Daisy up later and Highlights tomorrow PM.

Have to say a first class solid performance. Ben and Anthony did not put a foot wrong all evening and that was due to them not trying to play from the back and defending properly. Perhaps Daisy gave them some old videos of Chris Moore and Barry Ashby defending, no nonsense style. Also, new right back was very solid so team selection could be interesting for Saturday with Pires and Loui back
A much improved display, like watching a different team compared to Saturday.
In the first few minutes it was clear the back four had been told not to fart around with it and clear their lines. The result: our first clean sheet on the road. And against a team who had previously scored in every home match this season.
Can only echo the other comments on here. Good solid performance from 1 to 11 and doing the basics properly.
The new lad did well slotting in at right back, Clarkey was much more involved than of late and Pugh was awesome playing up front on his own for most of the night.
I expected more from the home team than old Wimbledon style football which played into our hands a bit but keeper and two centre backs dealt with it very well all night.
Great performance last night, i think it must be the first time ever for me being a wings fan to have the opposition fans chant at us "where were you when you were sh#t". The guy who was actually singing this later went on to streak across the pitch in the second half.
