Still not sure about the red for Healey. Yes, he was high, but so was the Darts player, it's just Healey was luckier with the outcome. If one gets red they both should in my opinion.

My immediate impression at the game was the same as yours.
Everything from the entry prices, to the ground, to Pires hair and boots and Jamie Day, who for the second game running was getting dogs abuse off the darts fans. We were clearly the better team for the last 70 minutes, just unfortunate.
I think if we start well at Princes Park there will be a lot of space for our wide men and forwards, Darts full backs look awful and their center midfield slow and Jon Wallis is suspended for the game at PP.
Their 4 should have gone off twice, also at Joes incident Wallis looks to push Joe and i think Hayes barges the ref, ref ignored both, Russ wont have been happy that the Darts players marched the ref back and intimidated him into sending Joe off.
Good Derby game and much rather play the Darts than Thurrock or Bromley. Hopefully though we will have a derby against Ebbsfleet next season in the prem.

Their 4 was an absolute animal. Kneed Ben Martin in the back of the legs and grabbed him by the face in the incident during the 1st half free kick incident. Was warned TWICE by the ref but still nothing. Blatent elbow and follow through on Jack Evans and deliberate handball at the end!! His name is Bonner though so you would think that he would have a grudge against the world!! Unlucky mate!!
On a side not I looked for the ref on twitter as I was told he is on there and the only thing that appeared was a tweet about him that read, and I quote "@nonleagueshow the ref by the way was a Mr. Craig Breakspear - beware, he is not very good at all, and thats an understatement" Just about sums it up I think!!

Jamie wont need a team talk the way the darts fans are slagging Welling off.

I was sitting in the old stand amongst a number of Darford fans and all through the match all I could hear from them was 'moan moan moan'. They briefly came to life when D******* scored, but that soon stopped as they were out of practice.
I hope we get to play Ebbsfleet next season and that Dartford take their traditonal place, which is one division below us :) Oh, was their any copper and lead left in Welling after the D******* fans went home?

Dartford a poor team who's so called fans are obviously worried about us as they should be sitting rightly behind us in the table. We should have won.
Not sure why they're moaning about entry prices surely they don't charge less more fool them if they do.

They seem to think that people on Job Seekers Allowance should get a cheap admitance. When I was made redundant 10 years ago and was on JSA until I got another job, I never considered using my book to claim cheap tickets for anything.

I remember 10 years ago Mark there used to be some emails flying between us in the dark days of Tony Reynolds and Bill Williams!
Take a look at Dave's photo 16 and you'll get your answer. Every player in shot, with one exception, is looking at the ball. The exception clearly has only one thing in his mind (just as well as it probably couldn't cope with two...) and is focussing on enacting that.

Plus ca change. I gave up on the FA's respect campaign a long time ago. Why should I respect someone who doesn't respect himself; who allows himself to be quite literally pushed around?
The TV companies should hire the authors of that thread - it's the funniest thing I've seen over the festive period.
Like most people I prefer the referee to be the sole arbiter of any incident on the field. We may of course differ on our opinions on what he/she decides as is evident from the debate above regarding the red card for Joe Healy.
There are however occasions where the referee and his/her assistants miss the incident, which looks to be the case with the injury to Jack Evans. I also was following the play and didn't see it, though a few around me suggested there was an elbow used.
Having the benefit of the video and photo, is there not a case for this to be reported to the Police or FA as an apparent "assualt"? There is evidence available for them to act.
In Dave buddens excellent photos. Their player looks to be looking at Jack Evans . There was also a disgraceful tackle by their 3 late in the game worse than the champion / one Joe incident. Seems to be de riguer for these derbys was it not champion last year at pp that wemy through parky and let's not forget clarkeys two footed lunge in the same game that was another terrible tackle. Here's hoping the ref at pp sees the stuff brakespear ignored.
edit just seen russ saw the same in the picture. A quite horrible "challenge" .

Ironically we looked much more solid at the back the other day than we have in recent times, just a shame that the impending bans will start working against us. We must stop picking up bookings, that is what will cost us in the long run, because the best players in the world are no good to you if they are sitting in the stands .... Day, Clarke, Healy and banned (either recently or coming up), Parky too gets too many bookings for similar ... Faz out for God knows how long, and now Ober subbed injured. Not good enough. How is it Pugh and Cumbers manage to not pick up bookings for back chat ?? funny that isnt it.
Anyhow, Dartford have their keeper as man of the match on their site, says it all. We had the chances and didnt take them. As mentioned before, cant rely on the forwards to score 4 every week. Stay tight at the back, and over time we will win through as Pugh, Cumbers and Pires will not miss chances like those every week.
Interesting discussion on Talksport about players surrounding the ref to get people sent off. They are saying when you do this the ref sends the player off more than if you just accept the free kick etc.
Ray Houghton is saying players shouldnt do it. The question is , if teams do it to you and we can all list teams that have.... Braintree, Dorchester, Woking, Dartford... should you not do it... or should you do it too?

In his NLP match report, Paul Carter mentions five people jumped off the visitors dug out and came onto the pitch to remonstrate. They should all have been cautioned at least.
I would never condone it but what would have happened had One Joe rolled around in mock pain?
Champion reminds me of another coward, Justin Gregory, who will give it out but cannot take it back and don't even get me started on Bonner.
