So much for our good relations with Charlton. They could have recalled Conor Gough from his loan at Langney Sports - he only went there to cover Clark Masters' suspension, hasn't featured since the end of that and this weekend would have been the end of his loan spell.
Yes, come on Fulham :D Pope is a very good keeper and we'll be better off when he comes back to us.
Why is it so hard for us to have a regular keeper? Is Whitehouse coming back soon?

Money
Our own keeper got a bad injury, the budget is pretty tight and reduced. John Whitehouse getting injured caused us a problem that was sorted by Dan Thomas' long loan. This latest call back is hard on us, Interesting Woking have got in a NON CALL BACK option on the players they bring in. So they dont get dropped in the **** and have players called away by their parent club.

The other thing to remember is you only get X amount of loans per season ... so if you loan a guy for a month like Pope, and he is called back after two weeks ... then you loan him again ... it'll go as two loans I suspect.
The situation with loan players is that with the exception of keepers they cannot be requested to return to their parent club within the first month of the loan deal. I am sure Jamie was aware of the situation on New Years Eve after Harmer got his red card, and has been working behind the scenes to obtain the best possible keeper for us.
