The season looks set to get underway again after the players month break at a high security training camp.

Hopefully all are fit and ready to go.

Havant impressed me at their place despite having weaknesses, they are having a hard time of it and its possibly a good time to play them IF we do our thing. My spies tell me they play it long so if we pass and move like we can we can get the three points. Expect and easy win and try to beat them at the long stuff and we could get our bums smacked just like last season when they rolled us over at home with that nice ref from hampshire in charge.

COYW!!

PS any home fans or floaters that go, of you keep the voucher at the gate you will get half priced admission to our game vs Weston super Mare soon.

Seems a long time since we've had a game. Be interesting to see who's in the squad, think we have 3 players suspended so it looks like some of the u18's may make the bench. good experience for them. still need the wins to confirm play off place........smile

Having a full bench looks better. If there aren't sufficient squad members available then I cannot see any reason for not putting a U18 or two on the bench.

Good to see Ryan on the bench, hope he can get on for a few minutes if we are in a position to do so. Well done to Harry and Jack aswell for making the squad. Good to see and a real motivator for them and the other lads in the Under 18s.

Tonight will obviously be tough with three first choice players suspended. The break may have done us some good in resting knocks etc....but I fear we might be a bit rusty after no game for three and a half weeks....

As Daisy says we have players who can come in and do a job and we will need them over the next two and a half months.

Good luck to all the new lads who may/may not make their Wings debut tonight although I hope Holloway is not kept too busy!

Thats what happens when you believe.

The training paid off we finished strong. I cant believe their8 can throw the ball over the hoardings and braham barrett can kick it away twice and the ref does nothing. The 6 should have been sent off more than once and they were a cynical and timewasting team who the ref let tackle us and also dive. The sending off is hilarious and correct should be in the olympics.

Highlights up tomorrow, and interviews with Jamie Day and Ben Greenhalgh up aswell with the highlights.

Ref missed a penalty for a handball i think and was lacking in authority, warning the 6 for lip and then letting him point at him and shout a couple of minutes later. Faz has a gash from a stud we think so hopefully he will be back in a week or two.

Next up Dover Away, love it.

Just back from the game, should have come for the last five minutes. Looked like we couldnt buy a goal all night and then we bang in three in five minutes. The highlights will be interesting, they kicked us up in the air all night. Faz I beleieve is on his way to hospital but thankfully managed to walk to a car.

At least thats one game of the suspensions out of the way, thought Ben Greenhaulgh did well tonight, maybe faded in the second half but probably needs games. Am I right in thinking that one Joe healy is available for the Dover game?

Think Havant wil bleat about the referee, he was equally bad for both sides but not the worse I have seen

We missed Daisy tonight. Midfield kep giving the ball away too easy.

Boring game right up to the end when we got the penalty. I'd had enough by then and with a couple of minutes still to go I decided to get a start on the traffic. As I was walking down behind the main stand Greenhaugh scored then heard another roar as I got in my car which must have been Cumbers.

That'll teach me but at least I didn't have to queue at the lights or the kebab house.
