Excellent-thought the goalie got frustrated by the constant reference to his man boobs etc.
Last time I laughed so much was when we had Luke Anderson playing for us and when he went up for a header someone shouted " well done Luke, you rose like an ox there"
I thought the best banter came when the old guy at the front was chatting to hooper for our first goal. He got so carried away crying about how his shirt was tugged leading up to his blatent handball that he missed jumping in the way of the ball when che scored. That is most effective banter!
shame Wilco had to celebrate how he did when Lewes scored. He got a great reception off of us because of the great service he did for us but he got a lot of abusive after that needlesly
He does play for them now! Never mind he lost in the end. I'd have more issue with him for perhaps trying to get Che into trouble when supposedly injured.
Phil definitely deserves to go down as an assist for the first goal!
Second goal shows just why we have Bods, his pace is electric and he manages to get past everyone in his way - blinding cross as well. Wilko, who I thought had a good game for Lewes, had no chance.
I thought the new look chunkier and scalped Wilko took things in his stride, certainly in the first half he took part in several jocular exchanges - best of which has to be "Paul do you wanna beer?" to which he responded "I'd rather have a chicken and mushroom pie." From the road end it looked like he was just celebrating Legges goal as one would expect but I thought he deserved more than a talking to for his antics in Che incident.
Jamie Turner was busier in the last couple of minutes or so than he had been all game and has to be applauded for ensuring that we did not lose 2 points during Lewes last minute seige on our goal.
Its hard to believe that Luke Howell met his teammates for the first time on Saturday morning - he fitted in really well and played a very active role in the match.
Great match. Great result.
