Even though play offs are secured its possible to catch Dartford so lets hope the boys can carry on the good form. Jamie said he is going to use the players who have not played and we all know they are good enough, this is their chance to possibly grab a shirt for the play offs with an outstanding display.

Interviews with Jamie Day and Harry Baker up later tonight and Highlights to follow.

Was good to see Harry have another good game and score again, especially as Thurrock nearly cut him in half in the 3rd minute. Didnt stop him and thats a trait the team have of late, keep right on as the Birmingham City fans sing.

Starting 11: Turner, McClaren, Obersteller, Sambrook, Acheampong, Parkinson, Greenhalgh, Kinch, Baker, Healy, Pires.

Subs: Martin, Flack, Cracknell, Clarke, Fazakerley.

Not as weakened as I expected. Good, while there's still a chance of finishing second.

Baker nearly got his second but rebounded off the post and bounced just in front of line. We need a second as I'm never comfortable when we're just one up!

Pires just had one disallowed for offside. He looked miles off.

Final score one nil.
We didn't play well, but still deserved the win.
Parkinson MOM for me - another defensive masterclass.
Flack looked decent when he came on.

Great result from the lads, they must have been pretty tired with two games so close. The rest is probably welcome till the weekend..... COYW

I thought Conor had an excellent game. For me Baker has the potential to be a real top talent, he just needs to be more consistent in his play. That said he is getting better as the season goes on and if Baker continues to improve as he is he could be a deadly weapon in the play offs.

Loick  got nowhere near it, Would have been Flacky's goal but was given offside as interfering with play by diving i think for the ball.

Yeah I think that Conor had quite a good game as well, as did Harry. Although I do think that Harry can be quite greedy at times and there were a couple of opportunities that he could have passed it and let us potentially score again but instead he had a shot himself. Oh well.

Also, the goal that was disallowed- I didnt think that Pires touched it but on one of the pictures it says he did? Hmm

But all in all another good win and a secure place in the playoff

The ball appeared to change direction so Loick must have got something on it.

From my angle from Loick clearly missed it, the ball bounced in front of him - good idea and diving effort from Loick though.

If he hadn't gone for it, and it had gone in, the goal should have stood, however had he not gone for it, the 14 year old goalkeeper would not have been bamboozled and should have saved it.

Flack is a talent, he impresess me everytime I see him play, when he gets the ball he looks comfortable and is strong for a young lad. Daisy is right to nuture him but he is one that will progress for sure.

Agree that it was good to see flack with some more time and a home debut for him and connor.
