Good result, rested some players, awful pitch, weather was mental, sun , rain and wind and some weird inconsistent refereeing.

Good day at the office. Clarkey sent off for second yellow but if the ref was consistent then their 11 and 2 could have gone for tackles too.

Healy penalty was last kick of game in added on time.

Interview with Jamie Day up late tonight and there should be highlights tomorrow although they may be brief depending how they came out as the sun was at camera gantry a lot. Will see how they came out and go from there.

Sutton lost today and Basingstoke won. Will have to wait to see who we'll be playing in the play offs.

LOL at Clarkie's first booking, Wins the ball Clearly, their guy goes in studs up and they come together and then goes mental at the ref to book Clarkie, which he does, probably as he knows he went in studs up himself.

If he gets a one match suspension he will miss Semi Final second leg. Any more and he would also miss Final.

Sutton's goalkeeper was also sent off today and he too will miss out.

So we may see the Incredible Bulk, Wayne Shaw.

Scriven was sent off just before half time with Sutton 1-0 up and Shaw came on as substitute. Sutton conceded three goals in the remainder of the match (two in the last ten minutes.)

There is no way we can put a goal past Wayne Shaw - he's bigger than the goal!

Agreed, funny old game & day yesterday, but very enjoyable.

We never looked pushed & always seemed we could quite easy step up another gear if we needed too.

Very surprised on how many of us there? Was expecting more as last away game if you dont count the PO's. Yet some good noise was made all the same.....the Beaver songs where very entertaining in the 2nd half :hilarious:

Our lot dont all go behind the goal at Hampton as its a poor view, So some stay at the dressing room end and others go in the main stand or down both sides. Probably took what we normally take to bog standard away games. Crowd was 519 and there wouldnt have been more than 400 home fans.
