Great result. Watching that Bet365 pitch image is more nerve-racking than watching live! My heart was in my mouth when "Sutton: Dangerous attack" popped up in the 96th minute. Hopefully Luis and Faz will be fit for Sunday. We need our strongest XI out and can't afford to get complacent, a week should be more than enough time to rest and prepare should we make it to the final.

Can't be there tonight as I have the small matter of a 6000 word report to write for Friday, but will be there for the second leg to scream and chant my voice-box out. COYW !!!
We were superb first half sutton had a go in second half without really hurting us. Hollers made a great save but what a second goal for us and the celebration was unreal.
Two sights forever will stay with me.
1 The fact we had the shed full of welling supporters first half then second half we had loads on the far side singing undercover and MORE behind the goal and they were singing to each other and responding. the support was spine tingling. Truly a fantastic number and atmosphere from our fans and Charlton and Millwall fans supporting us.
2 The celebration when Pires destroyed them and Healy scored
We have done the first part and Jamie said after he wants to win the second leg, No trying to hang on it seems,
Interviews with Clarkie and Jamie Day up in just over an hour i reckon. Highlights to follow.
Proud tonight of players and fans, a night to remember. Lets hope Sunday is the same.
We need to be as good on Sunday as Sutton will go for it big style but that may be good for us.
coyw.

Just watched the goals back. 2 stunning goals absolute top draw and the celebrations are quality aswell. Interviews are uploaded just processing for around 30 mins.
Agree with Ben, Our boys know this is only a good start to the play offs and were calm after the game and not going mental. We need to be as good on Sunday and give the same as we gave today.

ON THE ROAD : SUTTON UNITED Welling United travel to West Sutton to take on play-off challengers Sutton United in the Blue Square South Play-off Semi Final. A victory would leave the Wings in pole-position to advance to the final where the winners would face either Basingstoke Town or promotion favourites Dartford FC.
Welling travel to Surrey on a fine form, snatching ten points from their last five games. Where there hosts however, have not seen such an easy street. They have only had two victories from their previous seven matches and Jamie Day's side would be looking to take advantage.
Stats aside, The Wings would be hoping for revenge on the "out-of-town side" as the hosts managed to secure an unlikely win in mid-December, coming out of a nail-bitting tie, 4-3 victors. It seemed impossible that lightning would strike twice on the Kent side, but then they were looking like Sutton would become the first team to do the double over the squad alseason. Thanks to some terrific goalkeeping from Wings keeper, Dan Thomas, Welling managed to see out the game to a goalless draw.
United are hoping for a better results in tonights away leg at The Borough Sports Ground.
what! I thought kick-off was 7.45pm there, and according to the "so-called" GMT converter that would be 12.45 here...... so my computer tells me kick-off is 22 minutes away! What the hell - COYW!!!!
