For me Joe Healy was man of the match last night by a long way. He really ran the show whether he was playing up top or in midfield. His passing was second to none and he really put himself about and got stuck in and to top it off scored the winner!!
IMHO if he had been better disipline wise this year he was player of the year. Really has become vital to the way we play just needs to keep his head and mature a bit to stop himslef getting caught up in silly things on the pitch.
Not sure he gets the credit for what he does on the pitch because of his studipity at times. Would be intersting to see if we would have racked up more points if he wasn't sitting in the stand for 10 or so games. Someone work out some stats on win % with and without.

Joe ran his socks off last night, chased every ball down, & how he found Cumbers with that little chip across the 6 yard box in the first half was magic. It looked like he was going to burn out as he covered so much ground, but no he kept it going - superb player!
We have always looked a brighter side & have a real spark to our play when he is in the team.
One Joe keep it going fella
Must say though the whole team played great football & was superb last night & it was a real team effort! & for that we salute you all management & team... , everyone played there part.
Great to see so many of us there last night & getting behind the team with our very vocal support, we must carry this on into Sundays game for the lads & give it our all.
SING LOUD SING PROUD!
WE ARE WINGS! WE ARE WINGS! WE ARE WINGS!

And to think there were many (including me) who were very sceptical when Joe was resigned a couple of years ago.
Very happy to be proved wrong. Top player and a top bloke as well - just needs to cut out the silly stuff as we need him on the pitch and not sitting in the stand.
Yep he was brilliant last night along with all the others. I think he'd be the first to admit his discipline's let him down this season but I'm sure next season (whatever league it's in) he'll improve that and be a crucial player for us.
And to think I (along with a fair few others probably) thought he was a donkey when he played here under Ford, just goes to show why Jamie's the manager and knows far more than all of us
know him! played for Our Lady Youth and Metrogas , my local club, always friendly and was around the club all the time. even saw him make an appearence at Millwall, but he picked up a bad injury and fell out of the football league, good to see him climbing back up with the wings!
