Its going to be a sensational, and very loud atmosphere on Sunday.
3 more sleeps to a massive game for Kent between local rivals in a sell out at a decent stadium. Lets hope for decent weather and the game to be played in a firm but respectful manner.
Its going to epic and must rank alongside the biggest games in the history of both clubs, certainly in the last couple of decades.
I bet the players of both teams are feeling fantastic and its fully deserved after a good season. I would like to bet that there arent many finger nails left for both sets of fans... and thats before kick off.
Is it going to be cagey or total football?
coyw!!
I am sure people will be updating, hopefully Moo, who has done it all season. The game is also due to be live commentary on Radio Kent. Plus you will have the Welling and Dartford twitters.
Everyone excited? When the teams and the ref come out for the handshakes the noise is going to be spine tingling.

Clarkie, Big Ben and Crackers all been through this before with St Albans, you cannot buy that experience. Faz was at Eastbourne when they played Alty in a play off. Holloway has also got experience of gaining promotion in this league. Sambrook went up with Grays. Cumbers has also scored in a play off final. Thats WELL over half a team with experience of days like Sunday and more importantly most with success in sitiations like Sunday.

Tha atmosphere is going to be intense. There is history between us and the Darts this season. Healy got sent off and in last season's game at PP Clarkey could easily have seen red....
Our disciplinary record has not been good this season. We need to be sensible and not give the ref or the Darts players and supporters any chance to "play" the officials.
We have done well when a man down all season but I don't want it to happen again. We know our players are good enough. We know we are capable of beating anyone home or away.
Agreed but also goes the same way if players are rolling around or screaming to get the ref to book people or all walking into his face en masse as happened at PVR.

Hopefully, for such an important match, we will have an experienced referee who can see through antics like that although our oppo will doubtless believe that they are entitled to a 75% home referee to go with a 75% home crowd!!
Despite all the banter on here and the Dartford forum, I think in their hearts both sets of fans believe that this game is too close to call. It could all be decided by a lucky deflection, a bad decision by the officials or even which team has the strongest nerves in a penalty shoot out.
Good luck lads and whatever the result you've done us proud this season.

well I'd like a 4-3 thriller but I'd also take a dire 1-0 win - just hope it isn't too cagey and ends up at penalties
Lads I won't be there tomorrow due to work commitments which I could not change but will be following on this forum and hopefully via Radio Kent. My two boys will be there cheering on for me and let's hope we can finally have some luck against them and if we are 1-0 up with a minute to go and get a penalty make sure our player dumps the ball out of the ground !!

Come on you wings !!
Message for Gav - dream could happen !!
Cheers
Lou
I'd rather our player smash the penalty in the back of the net.
It's probably on another thread, and I've tried looking in the Dartford website, but............how can I get to Princes Park from Dartford train station?

out the station, down stairs before bridge fasttrack bus b i believe towards bluewater, they are pretty well advertised at the stops there..bus stops right outside the ground.
half time one nil. Dartford bossed the first 15 mins and we looked like rabbits caught in headlights, but we were the better team for the rest of the half. Haven't converted that to many clear chances, though.

Have to laugh at this on "their" forum last night:
"For what it's worth.
At 8.30 this evening there were 65 people on this forum. There were three (3) viewing the Welling forum.
Say's a lot about this club, IMO."
It says that at half eight on a SATURDAY NIGHT you are all sitting there with a cup of tea watching BGT while we are all out on the lash, you silly old men!

Haha, I know that myself and at least 3 fellow wings are feeling slightly delicate this morning. We told ourselves not to drink too much, as we needed to get up bright and early to start drinking again.
Cheers Jamison and Andrew. I've been before but I've always been given a lift. Due to marital commitments I'm very short of time today so it'll have to be the bus, which I'm guessing will be rammed. Did no one think about easy access to the ground by public transport when they put that Lego set together?
Full time one nil To Dartford. It's hard to argue that we deserved any more - we did not play well today. Can't remember us having a single chance second half.
I'm absolutely gutted but still proud of our boys. Not the best performance today but they deserved the win more than that other lot. If we can keep the core of this team for next season this defeat can be used as an experience to have another good go at promotion.
It's been a great season for the club and it sets us up for a great season in the future. But today the chances we had up front simply lacked the finishing touch, I especially kept getting frustrated with Loick...
Well make Plastic Park like a home tie by outsinging them from start to finish
Plastic 'Premier' Park now my friend.
Nice Mr Biggun ... Posted at 5pm , when Darts would have been setting off fireworks and lifting their prize only minutes after full time ... at the game were we?
Nope didnt think so , unless you found time to go and log on to a Welling Forum and make a post whilst at Princes Park.
Next time at least make it even remotely believable by saving yer post until oooh 6pm
Mr Biggun (boasting of course) possibly not up to date .... and probably not at the game .... think laptops, tablets, i-phones etc .... can post from games of course .... prat is all I can add ...
