Why wasn't it updated when the Newport game was called off?
Admittedly l first called it around 12.30pm when l was in Newport but it still had details of the FA Trophy draw!
I was chatting to people in the Newport Club bar and they said the postponement didn't appear on Teletext until 1pm. Can anyone confirm this? Also, like me, they thought the pitch was playable!
Well apart from if he has a phone with a proper browser on it it wouldn't have helped him. Did you try ringing Welling? Its poor really, they make loads off the line and can't be arsed to update it when a game is called off. Costing their supporters time and money.
Didn't have the number. However if someone was at the club on Saturday morning, they should have updated the clubline. I didn't know there was an inspection planned for 8am.
Should have l know the game was off upon arriving at Newport, l could have gone to Hereford to watch them in the FA Cup.
