Who was the bloke with the hair (you know which one I mean haha), that played for us in the first half up front/in midfield. I thought he was quite good.

ROSS LAFAYETTE (12 )

Popular member of the squad who likes to play up front but is just as comfortable on the wing. Previous clubs include Wealdstone, Chesham, Burnham and Aylesbury United. His football highlight was playing for Wealdstone against Rotherham in the FA Cup 1st Round proper, albeit losing 3 -2.

KURTIS GUTHRIE (9 ?)

He was handed a one-year contract at Accrington Stanley for the 201112 season after a successful trial period at the club.
He made his Football League debut on 6 August 2011 against Northampton Town.
On 24 November 2011, it was announced that Guthrie had joined Blue Square Premier side Southport F.C. on a month long loan deal.
He rejoined Stanley on the 5th January 2012 having made 5 appearances and scoring 1 goal for Southport F.C.. In May 2012, Guthrie was released from Accrington.

DANNY McGUIRE (16)

A product of the Loftus Road youth set-up, put to pen paper on a one-year professional deal at the Championship side last season - but has yet to make his senior debut with the west London club.
It is understood that the talented midfielder has been told he has no long-term future with Paulo Sousa's side and has already had a trial with League One outfit Stockport County also had trials at Crystal palace and Crewe.

JOE OBERSTELLER  (15)

Tilbury FC ?

CORY WALTERS-WRIGHT  (second half 11 defender)

Thamesmead, Cambridge United.

I posted a while ago on here that Walters Wright will be a player and also a good signing. If he stayed with us for season and developed and worked his way in it will get him noticed.

Definitely have to concur with this JgFc .. Walters-Wright, Mott and Fairweather-Johnson are all 3 players from Thamesmead  said to mates last season that I'd love to see at Welling .. Mott's almost a finished product .. but a lot of potential in Walters-Wright (and F-J) .

I would like to see Guthrie stay aswell , there was a natural flow in the first half , and considering a lot of new faces and triallists, you wouldnt have guessed they'd only started playing together.. Credit to Daisy again in getting in players , regardless of level or experience who can make a difference.

Guthrie and Fairweather-Johnson then for me then and only because F-J is prolific (I am sure JgFc will disagree with me on this one .. tough call though)

Getting these two would be great but I think we have to have another full back as cover for Faz and Jack.

Without a doubt .. can't think of anyone on a free or ending a contract in that position though .. any ideas?

Jamie has said theres one, maybe two people to come in.

So who can he bring in?. Hes got the handful of trialists, plus Connor and Ryan.

Its down to the trialists to really impress Jamie as he can only bring in one or two.

Definitely a good bunch of trialists this season, really hard decisions for Jamie based on just one game, they all look capable but which ones fit the budget and the squad? Some of the youngsters may get the nod based on budget constraints.

I liked Maguire (based on one game), think he can open up teams like Healy... and Connor impressed me. all of them would be decent signings and i am sure Jamie will get the right ones signed up if they continue to do well in pre season. Its time for them all to step up and show him they would be the ones to sign up.

Think Jamie wants a forward so Kurtis, Theo and Ross look like fighting it out for one squad place.

Looks like Kurtis was just playing to get a game under his belt, according to twitter... guess we will find out if he wants to try with us if hes there tomorrow.

Dogme, WUSA have already given (or agreed to give) Jamie a sum of money this season for the budget. If fans want to chip in to Boost the Budget then contact Matt or go to the WUSA desk at the ground on a match day.

I know Theo personally and from my playing days, a very very good player on his day. Was on Trial at Burnely a couple season back and had a great article written about him in 442 Magazine. When he is form he is unplayable!!

Is there anything more that the WUSA can do by way of fund raising to enable Jamie to sign two more forwards? I know they've done a lot already, but we need more goal scorers! :)
