Lots of effort and belief last 20 minutes against lots of time wasting from the visitors. Good result, Both their goals were from our errors. I always think in games like that the ref should play 1 minute injury time when the team who have been hard done by because of time wasting are winning.

Excellent result when not at our best.

Interviews with Jamie Day and man of the match Joe Healy to follow hopefully tonight and Highlights should be up in the next day or two.

Two one to Staines. sloppy passing in midfield, bad positioning in defence.

If we do end up winning this, which is by no means certain, i'm not sure we've deserved it. Staines look a much better team than in recent years. still, we've showed a lot of character after not playing well most of the match.
Ref has made some odd decisions today, but played a good advantage for our third.

Good comeback and subs worked well. Not sure you can start with Clarke, day and kinch - too similar. Shocking ref and linos. Lino only gave things after the refs whistle and the other joker nothing at all. Nice to see the time wasting by Staines proved fruitless. Ref well out of depth. We only played passing football late in the game - it worked! Too many long balls today though. Great result, great comeback and winning when playing bad is a major plus.

Agree about the misfield, we seem to have lost a creator with Jamie playing a deeper role.

Need to give some thought about startng Mainey, the only way you will get a bloke fit is to give him game time, fine if you sub him but 20 mins here or there is not going to get him to the levels he needs

Good effort though from the team today, good to see the response after going 2-1 down

Talking abouit going down, I thought there was an assasin in the stands the amount of time Staines spent on the deck, clearly trying to wind the clock down which graciously went against them in the end-nice pink outfit from the keeper though, maybe hes wearing it for a bet, although I notice the sub had it as well, maybe hes on it as well

In fairness to the ref if he intended to play the advantage for the 3rd goal it was a brilliant piece of refereeing.

No - the ref played on because he didn't see (or want to give) the foul (or the gimp by the white line). I really do think the ref would not have blown regardless of advantage. I was watching him like a hawk.

I thought One Joe was a different class out there today, amazing player who we are very lucky to have.

My MOTM without doubt.

He showed their defenders we was not going to be bossed about (cue Hughes-Mason coming in for a fair amount of tough challenges) by chasing down every ball & giving as good as was being given & more - strength & passion all the way from Joe!

         Joe Healy I sulute you Sir.

Staines have some good tactics though which clearly involve at least 8 of the squad falling to the ground for no reason when they take the lead.. Genius , thats why they walked away with the 3 points .. oh hang on ,they didn't.

Haven't seen us celebrate a goal like the 3rd one in a while now .. good to be part of.

Only One Joe excellent today

No way was that intended or a card would have been shown to the assassin.
