Hes had 2 serious injuries last season and came back too early, He and Daisy have said he needs to be fitter, Hes scored a hatrick in pre season to show he can still score. Hes scored good goals that have secured points in 2 games out of 7 when used here and there.
Again i will say Lineker, Owen and Inzaghi did naff all for 85 minutes except score quite often !!!!!. You would have despised John Bartley, absolutely hated him, did jack **** all game but score 2 or 3 goals and his fitness .... shocking!!
I know, Lets all moan at Mainy and hope he works a lot harder and breaks down injured again or criticise him and ruin his confidence, i think you can be sure when he was injured last season he thought that was it.
How hard must it be for someone whos scored 100s of goals , who has a massive reputation, to please everyone, when hes coming back off terrible career threatening injuries. His celebrations show you he wants to do well and his team mates love him. Cut the man a bit of slack Kevin, and in the words of Gary Barlow.... have a little patience.
If he doesnt get injured, he finishes as our top scorer even coming off the bench in more games than he starts. Natural born goalscorer..

Its not eating cheeseburgers , he only played minutes in pre season and hes only played minutes since weve started in the main (Nice pun). How do you get fit (quickly) if you arent playing Kevin? Run up Shooters Hill ten times next week and he should be fit?
Kevin if the man was fit and had no injuries, do you think he would be playing in Blue Square Bet South for us? If we get him fit and strengthen his leg then weve got a top goalscorer, if we run him in the deck too soon, weve crippled him, ended his career and we are a player short.
I'll go for option A please, especially in the mean time hes scoring goals. Ta. He was limping in pre season during games. I hope hes here for the next few years, i cant see him getting fit and sodding off given Jamie has shown faith in him and he is local. He would quite like to be a legend at 3 different clubs i would think and strengthen his reputation as one of non leagues best ever strikers. I'm sure he could have got more money at Margate or somewhere else that is flashing cash and not given a toss if he played if he was not interested in getting fit and scoring goals.
If it doesnt work out then so be it but give him a bit of time.

I am still convinced that when we get Jon totally fit we will will have one hell of a fox in the box...........scored two vital goals already...more to come
He has a personal responsibility to get himself fit, it is not just purely Jamie and his team that are responsible for it.
If you aren't fit, running around will help improve this. I maintain he is a good player, and if a chance fell in the box you would want him on the end of it for sure, but his work rate and general effort needs to improve if he is to replace Kieran in the short-term in my view, given Kieran and Ross look like they have played up front together all their lives based on the last two performances from them both.
There is a place for Main yes, but if he really isnt fit then its up to him to sort out.
