Good result, can't comment on performance as wasn't there. Starting to look like a team rather than eleven individuals it seems. In a way that Hayes result might have done us some good.
We played some excellent football on the floor today which is great...basically tore them apart....we got a little sloppy as it was so easy and could and should have had 6 or 7
Funniest moment was after we had scored the 3rd - their keeper having an altercation with two of his own team....very tinpot!!!
Odd place really...huge stand that you cant use even though we did last year when it was only half built
you cant have any plastic bottles with the top still on and there was a right little Hitler type demanding to see your tickets if you went for a slash
Nice to see a clean sheet - now lets really do the job next week and get some pennies coming into the club
It was also good to see the 1st choice back four at last
Excellent performance. At times the passing was bordering upon the sublime. I thought Healy was outstanding. Times must be hard there - no boards for subs and the electronic scoreboard wasn't turned on.
The highlight had to be the three little kids at the front trying to give it to all the wings fans :). Amazing effort by the Welling squad. I thought Chelmsford was good but this was something else. I remember somebody saying that we were playing at a "whole new level". If we played like we did yesterday against Dartford in the POF, we would have been in the conferance prem with atleast a 3-0 win at D*rtford
Great performance we really looked comfortable on the ball. Thought the referee was shocking though.
I was in the stand with the home supporters. They thought the ref was shocking too - because he was so biased towards Welling. He did do us a favour in stopping play when two of our players clashed heads and they were in an interesting attacking situation. He was right to do so but we would have been less than happy if it had been the other way round.
Talking of their supporters - what a negative bunch. They were on their players backs from the off - even before we scored. Wouldn't want to play in front of that lot every week.
I love going there. Nice ground and we seem to do well in recent years.
