Lidl's are doing a Halloween special on three different beers as from tomorrow (11th Oct).

Wychwood's Goliath 4.2%, Wychwood's Wychcraft 4.5% and a special from Shepherd Neame called Warlock's Broth 3.8%. 8 x 500ml bottles for £8.00

The Shepherd Neame specials are usually pretty good and the two Wychwoods are both pretty decent beers.

I'll be there early to stock up so be warned.

Goliath and Wychcraft are good beers. Haven't tried the other one.

Not quite as good an offer but Morrisons are doing a case of Hobgoblin (6 x 500 ml) for £7

Didn't get there until 12:00 today but there were quite a few cases left, especially the Wychcraft which to be honest is the one I'd choose last out of the three. Good beer though and terrific price.

I was in Aldi in Thamesmead today and picked up some Wychwood Pumpking 4.2%, 500ml bottles for 99p. Also a favourite beer of mine Courage Best 500ml bottles also for 99p. There was plenty of stock of the Wychwood Pumpking and its well worth a try.

Never really liked Courage beers until Wells & Young took them over. Courage Best one of my favorites now. I'll have to go to Aldi for a few.

Thanks for the info Hope & Glory.

Went to Aldi today (Monday 15th) and they had loads of Courage Best at 99p. Got myself 18 bottles.

They also had Bank's Bitter and a seasonal one from Wynchwood's called Evil Pumpkin Ale for 99p so I got a few of those too.

Big family Christmas this year and mostly real ale drinkers hence the stocking up.
