Excellent chance to get in the first round, We are playing well. If we can start well again as we have done last two games, they will find it hard coming to park view road. Against that is we havent played great in the two fa cup games, but then finished them off in replays.

I fancy us to win and play well, the team are really coming together now.

They're planning to bring a few down. Looks like theyve already arranged a 28-seater to come down

Thats right Tom, the team are getting better and better no doubt about it. For me the big thing is to try to keep clean sheets. We have goal scorers in all departments, including on the bench.

Lets see the momentum continue.

I thought there was a real team effort against Bromley, unforseen changes had to be delt with, the management reacted quickly, the team helped each other get the result.

For a neutral spectator it must have been entertaining to watch. Who knows, we may have gained a few followers from the non league day.I think Bromley as a club did well for the non league game.thumbsup.gif

Cant wait for Saturday.

Yep, need to win the game, then draw a big side, then get picked for TV. I fancy our chances of the first point, but the other two are luck of the draw. This is our biggest game since the playoff final so hope everyone has their singing voices ready! Can't wait. COYW !!!

Just a thought actually, if we were to get through and draw Pompey away, does anyone actually think we'd see any of the gate receipt money given their financial plight? Or would we just end up as another creditor getting a penny in the pound?

Absolutley massive game on Saturday. If we were to win, and get drawn against Portsmouth/Coventry/Sheff Utd at home then with live TV money the prize would arguably be bigger than promotion.

Lets do our bit as supporters and get right behind the team from the start.

if we win and get though and has you say we pull of them teams at home where are they going to film because there is bearly no space for them at the side of the pich what they would have to is bulid a big filming box on top of the erith & belvedere sand.

They would use the park and the sports ground is my guess BUT there is a long way to go before that is a possibility......We have a game to win first

If we win I'd like to be drawn at home to the winner of the Hastings tie. The prize money if we beat them is probably worth more than the share of the gate that we are likely to get against most league clubs and would be a realistic route to round 2. Anyway we are a long way off that. When's the draw?

Forget the draw until 445pm on Saturday IF we have beaten Stortford. Rod Stringer will have them fired up and organised and they will fancy it. Hes a decent manager who has in the past got teams getting results. If we think the job is done and we go through the motions we can add it to the previous "good draws" we failed to make the most of.

I think we will win, but if we dont prepare well or start well or think these are a ryman team standard... we wont.

If we do get a lower league team we might have more chance of geting through and in the next round bit the thing is that we get a big team at home then we beat them that will rice how profile a bit more so then when we play in blue square south there might people who have never come boefor and they only come because he of her wached the f.a. cup.

Why are we talking about who we want in the first round? We need to concentrate on the job in hand and beat a Bishop's Stortford team who will have their own ideas.

They had us watched last Saturday (I expect we did likewise) and will be well prepared. We will have to be at our best or we will be out.

 Totally agree Mark.

The focus needs to be beating Stortford.

Try away to the winners of Bradford Park Avenue or Ossett Albion. Long trip, good chance of losing and not much of a crowd....

Careful guys, they are getting offended at mentions they are bringing a car load. They did bring 21 fans the last time they came to Welling so we need to not under estimate their travelling numbers. 21 is more than Boreham Wood and Staines bring. Cant see them singing a lot so good chance for our fans to make themselves heard.

I cant wait for Saturday its going to be a knockout day.

on TV? I'll be watching whatever the result tomorrow. Either with excitement, or bitterness with what could have been as they get Hastings United at home

Huge game tomorrow!

Following on from Jamie's quotes in the press this week, let's get behind the team again tomorrow. We made a lot of noise at Bromley so let's sing, cheer and support the boys and hopefully we will get another victory.

Come On You Wings!

P.S - The bottle bar is still running at half time - tomorrow there will be a selection from Kopperberg, Rekorderlig, Jeremiah Weed (very nice if you have not tried it), Crabbies (all £3.50) as well as Budweiser and Becks (£2)

Ignore the *w*t biggun hes a dartford fan.

Good luck to stortford in the next round. They had help from the ref to go 1-0 up and took advantage. Stringer did a job on us again.

Interviews up later with Jamie Day and Jon Main and a few clips will be in the interviews as not sure if there will be any highlights as have a lot on over the next week.

Awful decision imho, clearly the catalyst for the defeat,no one can argue that a wrong penalty at 0-0 gives a team a big advantage in a well contested tight cup match.

Looked a world class tackle at the time, outside the box and got the ball. At 0-0 in a game like this and a yellow card that also would have affected Ant. Here is the moment Ant won the ball. Wasnt a foul or inside the box.

Changed the game and we didnt recover.

Here shortly after where the ball is played away still outside the box.
