Good chance for our boys to bounce back and cement their good place in the league. Decent away day close to the station for those thinking of going. Maidenhead been doing ok this season and will be no push over on their own patch.

Train from Paddington? What's the best way to get there via the tube this weekend with all the engineering works?

Indeed Paddington. Easiest look to be Jubilee Line (from Waterloo) to Baker Steet and then change onto the Hammersmith and City Line - about 35 minutes in total?

Or walk to Bank from Cannon Street, Central line to Lancaster Gate, and walk to Paddington.

Or come to Wimbledon and get the tube! Lancaster Gate - true, must admit I had no idea where Lancaster Gate was.

Another alternative is to take a Bexleyheath line train to Victoria then take bus 36 or 436 which take around 20 mins to get to Paddington.

If true, I would be inclined to add stupid, selfish, and sackable to your unprofessional. We've had people do that in the past and they have immediately been moved on. Will be interesting to see if the same happens this time around. Why do it. Honestly. So we now have Franks, Kinch and Martin all suspended potentially ??

Jamie mentions our new signing in his interview. Hes hoping to sort it on Monday, Just watched the tackle on Obersteller back and cant see how their guy has  stayed on. Why do we always get the worst of these lunges, ours get sent off and the oppo get a yellow at best and sometimes (Dorchester away) we dont even get a free kick.

We were decent first half then we just lost our way and stopped playing. Disappointing but Jamie is on to it and hes pretty angry in his interview.

Interviews with clips should be up around 10 tonight, worth watching as the gaffer covers lots of points and pulls no punches.

Referee was very young and didnt have a great game, Sends off Kinchy which looked a complete joke decision, but allows a dreadful tackle on obo which was a lunge that went through him, right in front of the lino, no idea what he was looking at. We didnt lose because of the ref though we lost because we were poor second half and defended  poorly aswell.

harry baker leaving - disappointed NO..done nothing all season and when he hit the ball from 30 yards last week over the bar that was it for me. Was the ref a joke today - well yes he fffin was out of his depth and the linesman second half was a little tosspot to. This does not hide the fact that we were so poor second half its unreal, didn't even create half a chance and i think a few players need reminding what they are playing for. There has been murmurs of people saying that the players who have come in are not good enough, if you look at it they are the only one's who seem to be doing anything, and the established heads are going missing! We all hear of how they love playing for daisy and the if he signs i'll sign, maybe thats the problem to comfortable in the surroundings to matey with the gaffer and just need a good rollicking and reminder of why they are at the club!

I hadn't even noticed Baker wasn't named in the team or subs, that's how ineffective he has been recently ... what's the jist of it Tom ??

According to official site Harry has left the club. I certainly wish him all the best for the future.

The right move. Flattered to deceive after so many said he was our best player pre-season.

All the best Harry.

Jist is, A Striker has become available that the gaffer likes and to bring him in , one has to go.

I have to say I'm slightly disappointed to see Harry Baker leave. Felt he started the season well and has shown some good moments at times. There are players in the squad, Kiernan, Theo that have offered as little as H this year! He did go missing in games but then loads of players have this year. None more so than our supposed Legend Lee Clarke!

Looking at what's happened with Baker and potentially to Martin in a positive way it may just give some of the players the kick up the arse they need to sort their act out!!

If we have signed a striker that will help us massively as I think the key to us not playing particularly well this year is the missing Luis Cumbers. No replacement "runners" in the squad which means Roscoe has to make up for the laziness of others which results in him not being in position in the mixer or being knackered.

Hopefully we can put the mess behind us and move on up now.

What's the point of signing another 'striker' when we only play one up front (except when we're losing) ?

Fair point have to agree. Maybe we're getting rid of a winger and signing another striker to play on the wing to go along with Kiernan!! Joke whats happened to Ben very, very lucky been poor all season does that and is just handed a fine!! Sure he'll have to sell his massive Porshe 4x4 now!! Wonder whether Clarkie knew anything of his best pal's bit on the side??

4-3-3 isn't working. I can count on one hand the number of times this season that one of the front 3 has taken on a man on the outside and whipped a cross in from the byline - with the exception of Roscoe, who is meant to be the spearhead of the attack but has such a great work ethic that he ends up running into the wide channels to get involved in the play - unfortunately because he has to do that, theres nobody to get on the end of the cross.

Signing another striker would indicate a move to 442, but I'm not convinced either Theo or KHM have the defensive awareness to play the wide role in that system - nor is Joe Healy a winger. From the start of the season I said that Faz - as good as he is at right back - is missed hugely on the right wing, and I stand by that.

Incredibly stupid to get yourself sent off playing for a Sunday league side - I seem to remember Ellis Green doing the same thing a few years ago and he was out for six weeks. Any idea how long he's out for? Looks like our back 4 next week will have to be along the lines of Fazakerley-Acheampong-Kinch-Oberstellar

Wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the only one playing for a Sunday side to be honest, reckon quite a few players at most sides do the same but get away with it.

Also glad to see Jamie's pretty angry at the team, think too many times after defeats he's been a bit too lenient on them in interviews. We're still 6th in the table though, with 3 games in hand on Staines, so no need for us to blow this blip out of proportion - a few changes do need to be made though

Theo has been impressing me recently, getting more confident and looking stronger and causing problems and getting shots off, Hes young so needs to build stamina gradually, as he gets tired late in games at the moment. People have been having pops, i dont think they are watching the games or they are expecting him to be Robben or Ronaldo every game for 90 minutes. Hes definitely progressing recently and is very young.

As ive said before the younger ones need backing, the older ones if they let their standards slip can take some comments about playing poorly without taking it to heart or affecting them as much as the youngsters.

People (on here) saying Theo hasnt offered anything lately are wide of the mark. If he keeps progressing we will have a starter who can cause damage in the coming months consistently. We need to encourage the youngsters, especially when they show promise.

Theo didnt score against Farnborough. He scored against Bromley after we carved them to pieces. Watch the way he found space in the box. He had the ball on the half way line in that move and finished it off. Players develop the more experienced they become. If they show signs of being potentially good enough they deserve encouragement. People saying what does he do... obviously dont watch the games and have chosen to pick up on errors.

I am not saying hes the bees knees or the complete article but i am saying to focus solely on any shortcomings or poor performances is harsh and if people focused on his good play and encouraged him to be more consistent then that would be more beneficial. I think some people are being unkind or dont watch games.

Look at Carl Jenkinson, AVERAGE for us, ripped to pieces by fans when he started at Arsenal. Hes got better... because he had something and he was young and learning. No one would have said he will end up at Arsenal when he was with us, and when he was given a chance no one would have said he would become established as a starter after looking all at sea and also scoring one of the best ever own goals for Arsenal.

I hope you are right JGFC but I have to say I have not seen anything to get me optimsitic. Gives it away more often than not. Doesn't score and doesn't trouble defenders.

I think (thinking back to Pires), some people make their mind up and will only ever see the bad side to players. Pires was in and out but on his day (which got more and more consistent) he was a beast, technically superb and destroyed teams. Some people still said every game hes rubbish and does nothing. He was a superb player and one of the reasons we did so well, equally as important as Pugh imo.

Yesterday Theo was HEAD AND SHOULDERS our man of the match for the first hour. He set up Ross, he made the keeper pull off two good saves, One after a run through their defence after winning the ball. His passing was good. Since his goal he seems to be growing in confidence. Lets knock that out of him and just post hes useless.

For me the last 2 or 3 games hes showing signs that he is the player Jamie Day saw when he played against us for Thamesmead. Surely a youngster gets more slack and encouragement than the older players?

Lets just post on forums (as people have been doing) they are not good enough and should be bombed out and ignore their good performances because they dont do it for 90 minutes every game in their first season at our level.

A St. Albans supporting friend of mine seems to think that he's been playing Sunday football for the past 3-4 years and won the league and cup double with his team last season!  Extremely disappointing if true.
