I tried to find when this will take place by looking at the FA official site. What an absolutely useless site that is.

I eventually found the info I wanted on Grimsby Town's website.

Draw is today (Monday 12th) at FA headquarters. I suppose they'll eventually let us know!

I bet thousands are refreshing the page to see the draw, the draw times tend to be whenever they can be bothered. In this day and age, they could stream it easily using a camera and wifi.

I am hoping we get a conference premier club at home. Get some money in the bank and have a go at them. Failing that a small club weve never played before.

I wont be stepping foot in that hole if we are after the way they treated us in the play off final. Hope we get them at home so we can give them 500 tickets and stick all their commentary and camera people in the old toilets in the park end :)

Don't care about these two, its about us!

Not a bad draw I think, they should bring a fair few no doubt.

I remember the last time we played them at home the season they went up a few seasons or so back. They like a good drink & are as nutty as they come, but a good laugh (& friendly enough) with it. We (my Dad, me & a few other Welling) was playing them a match (football) in the Guy Earl of Warwicks garden, most of them were so drunk they kept falling over...

:D

Looking forward to Jimmy coming back, hope the choir are in good voice and welcome him. Cant see it being their reserves like Luton sent... so should be a decent crowd.

(From their forum)

Meanwhille, Edinburgh has confirmed County with be in it to win it in terms of the FA Trophy, the Exiles travelling to Conference South high-flyers Welling on November 24 (TBC) for the first round.

Newport reached the final at Wembley last season, beaten by playoff winners York City, and Edinburgh wants to get back to the national stadium.

Especially as we are out of the FA Cup, well be trying to win it and playing as strong a side as we can, he said

Yate beat them in the FA Cup so I certainly wouldn't discount our chances.

I suppose that means we'll have to put up with their arrogant reporters.

If Dack's at Newport JT will enjoy the reunion! He thinks Dack's a tit in a trance or something like that.
