Bruno will be hard to replace, i think a dream team would be moo and patsy, both huge welling fans who wouldnt take any crap and people would respect them, failing that i would pick chelwing for his unrivalled knowledge of football and compassion and harmonious attitude.

After over six and a half years of moderating the forum I have decided to call it a day at the end of the year.  Hopefully between now and the end of the year a new moderator(s) will be found as I would like to see the forum continue to thrive.

Anyone who is interested in taking over the moderation and/or wants more information should PM me or speak to me at a game.

And a brilliant job you have done as well. I certainly hope some-one can be found to take over.

My dear Bruno, don't you have to give at least 2 years notice before retiring from your post?

Well done on a great job Bruno. May I be so bold as to nominate Muz and JGFC as the future joint moderators?

My wife and I would like to extend to you our heart felt thanks for your efforts. During the 80's we ran a swingers site, but being pre-internet it was done mainly by leaving solicitous messages on the doors of public toilets in the hope people would respond and we could all engage in adult entertainment.

Some said it would never last, but I'm sure few people here would disagree that nothing livens up a cold winter's evening than picking up secret messages. On the coldest of nights, in the toilets at PVR, I imagined myself as a member of the French Resistance, performing history-changing tasks for the good of man kind, as opposed to watching illegal acts between people who would eventually be tagged and living under ASBO's.

Of course, the advent of the internet made our activities slightly less clandestine and my decision to start a series of revolutions in third world countries and buy Leeds for a quid also drained our interest in the art of clandestine cottaging.

But you sir, you persisted. You dragged us through those dark, dark, days. Enjoy your retirement.

The people of Belgium in particular sleep safe at night xx

Thank you for all your efforts Bruno. There have been some testing times over the years.

Enjoy your 'retirement'.

Bruno, thanks for all your work, and I dare say, patience. Not an easy job I imagine.

I can't help but think maybe this has come along as a result of recent events of "personal abuse" and the like, perhaps I am wrong, but it can't have helped. A lesson to all of us I hope. Like without a referee we have no game, without a moderator we'd have no forum.

Take a bow Bruno.

Thank you kind sir. I don't think anyone could follow Bruno and do it so well - but somebody will take it on I am sure. It would be terrible if this board died. Through the troubled times a couple of years ago I feel this board and the fact that it kept people in touch with what was happening was one of the main reasons the club survived.

Many thanks for the kind messages of appreciation.

Things are however looking pretty bleak for the forum at the moment as with less than a week to go nobody has as yet shown any interest in taking over its moderation.
