Ale and Footy in yesterdays programme mentioned the New Prince in Surbiton - what it didn't mention was that it used the be the most easterly Gales pub in Britain according to the landlord) before Gales got swallowed by Fullers. It still does a wicked pint of HSB and is well worth a visit (reasonably priced food as well). I broke a rib after a session in there a few years ago when I tripped and fell but protected the HSB glass donated to me by the staff. The Wetherspoons in Surbiton is in an imposing building and the Camra 50p off a pint vouchers make it appealing, but its still a Wetherspoons (although decent chance that not everyone will be drunk in there on a Saturday morning). Both sell that lager stuff as well.
