If we can get as many people commenting on, and sharing this article via the Facebook an Twitter buttons, hopefully we can grab this as much attention and free publicity as the report for the Hornchurch game which was the most shared and commented article on the NS site at one point last week. http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/10143323.Welling_edge_home_after_thriller/?ref=la

Very good idea! Gives us a bit more free advertising, although it might be worth waiting to see if someone at the club posts an event on there just in case we get duplicate entries by mistake.

With regards to the Truro match report, has anyone noticed we had 6 tweets and two Facebook shares yet now have just two tweets and one Facebook share?!? I wonder who scrapped the others.

Also we currently only have two comments below the article compared to the 18 comments the Hornchurch article received.

It only takes a minute to register with the site and leave a comment, or click on the Facebook and twitter buttons.

It's a damn sight quicker and cheaper than pounding the streets with Flyers, and can potentially gain us more publicity.

If the match report gets into the top 10 columns of the site then it will be read by 1000's! Including all the Charlton fans who went to bed last night praying for a refund! It will also give Mark Doig the recognition he deserves, as a first class match reporter.

Thank you for your kind comments. Sadly, I was anything but a first class reporter last night as I rushed my review and published it without proof reading it properly as I was going out. When I read it upon returning home, I made some amendments and that may be what caused the Facebook and Twitter numbers to be reduced.

I believe the event creating should come from the club but agree that it is free advertising that should be utilised.

Currently the third most read article on Newsshopper! A new record! Higher than the Charlton and Millwall match report.

Well done all. Keep the comments below the article, and clicks on the Facebook and Twitter buttons coming. Hopefully we can hit top spot!

I'm sure someone from commercial like Paul would be happy to.

Although it's quite a simple thing to post on there, we don't something posted on there twice by two separate people by accident.

Hi all. I've just added the Truro video highlights to the comments section below the article, and I believe Mark has added the excellent match photos, so it looks like a really decent report now.

It would be good if everyone could leave a short comment and share the article via the Facebook and Twitter buttons. The more people that do that, the more read ship it will get, and the more new people we can bring to PVR. It takes just one minute but makes a huge difference. This is excellent free publicity we need to utilise fully.

It will also give Mark the recognition he deserves as a sports reporter, and also give the Truro highlights the viewer ratings they deserve (after all the hard work that went into producing them!). This will hopefully in turn produce the crowds that Jamie Day and the lads deserve.

Speaking of Commercial - Pure Nightclub has a Website with an event calendar. Any chance they might (as a main sponsor) put our fixture list on their calendar??
