Adobe are giving away previous versions of their software with the serial numbers.
Photoshop (editing photos), Premiere Pro (video production and editing), Audition (Audio production and editing), Acrobat (for PDFs etc), GoLive (Website building), InDesign (Creating flyers and brochures) plus more.
So pop over and download from the official adobe site
The serials are listed next to the product. Download the suite if you want the lot in one go. No use to me as have most of the latest editions but this is a goldmine for anyone who wants to learn and have some decent software. Beats using windows movie maker and other rubbish software thats compatible with adobe, like Gimp and pdf creators.

Tom, it seems you have to subscribe to "the cloud" to get these downloads for free .... can't see Adobe giving anything away as they are pretty much one of the "grabiest" companies out there ....
just completed the download of Acrobat 8.0 pro - it seems to work. I guess they are giving away the old "obsolete" version s in hope of attracting new customers who subsequently pay to upgrade to CS6
perhaps some kind of "foreign export" regulations.... I downloaded almost everything and have it mostly installed. The Creative Suite itself was a bit of a pain - had to uncompress each of the 3 "disks" separately and then burn 2 and 3 onto CDs, uncompressing disk 1 last of all, and then loading the Cds when asked. If you try it from folders on the HD, disk 2 fails to load. We can set up something, I may be able to access out FTP server at work and drop them there for you Dad.
