Yep definitely said that, no idea why. Can't have been what he meant to say, even if you wanted to get rid of him (which I doubt he does), you wouldn't say it as openly as that

The "stupid free kick to give away" was funny..like he said it and then thought "oh that was me" lol..Although he did win the ball!

No Jamie says "Hopefully we can TELL Barney at the end of the season...."

He basically implies that if Barney keeps the good performances up we can tell Barney he'll be in the squad next year at least.

I read JoeBo is on loan at Erith Town. Young players will make mistakes and the consistency will come from experience of playing. The good thing is they have proved they are good enough technically. The support for Barney was excellent, lots of encouragement and praise.

He more than matched what Jack Evans did for us and looked as solid as Connor and Faz, Keep it up Barney, did things confidently, simply and concentrated well.

It does sound like he says "sell" him. Maybe he's thinking that as he's a young player, if he impresses we could get a few quid for him. Be a shame if that's the case though.

I'm pretty sure Jamie says "tell" not "sell". Plus I'm pretty Barney's only contracted to the end of the season so we wouldn't be able to sell him anyway. He'd be a free transfer.

I thought Barney was excellent on Saturday (closely followed by One Joe) - the biggest compliment you can pay him is that it could easily have been Faz we were watching on Saturday.

However before we go anointing him as a superstar and/or selling him to the highest bidder, lest we forget that he is only 17. He will not always be able to replicate the performance on Saturday week in week out and put in that level of performance over a heavy schedule of games.

I still think we should have an alternative on the bench at least as and when required.
