Following on from the Mascot competition on Saturday which was Sponsored by Supreme Engraving and Meridian Radio

and won by Jack Gearing

I recieved the following email from his mum yesterday which proves that things are going in the

right direction.

It read as follows:

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who was involved in the competition, Jack had the most amazing day. We would like to say a special thank you to Les Podd a loyal Welling United fan who told us about the competition and to Paul White who made us feel so welcome. This came at such the right time for Jack who has had a difficult time recently with bullying but has given him his confidence back so we would like to thank everyone who helped make his day so special in particular  Lee Clarke, Sam Mott, Ben Martin, Scott Kinch, Jon Main and Joe Healy.
You have a new fan who'll be there at every home game and wishing you every success for the rest of the season.
