Would be superb to get some extra fans there tomorrow night at PVR and some floaters to get behind the team. Should be a decent atmosphere as Farnborough have at least a coach of supporters coming.

They have put in some good performances recentlyand i think their Manager watched us at Sutton so we need to be up for this as they will be in our faces at the start and have as good a work rate as we had in the win v Havant.

He says we are the only team that outplayed them at Cherrywood Road. He claims his team are massive underdogs on Tuesday but they will be positive and theyve beaten Salisbury and Dover this season.

 

Kurtis may be available again for us, as Jamie said he was available for Saturday so we should have lots of options.

Big game, big chance for us. A chance to get Salisbury chasing us.

De'Reece was excellent and everyone i spoke to made him clear man of the match. Daisy agreed and asked that he been named man of the match as Daisy has won enough of them in his career.

Farnborough were decent at times but a bit lightweight, they played some nice stuff and for the first half hour they were at least as good as us. Ross has almost snookered me for the 2nd goal cant believe hes scored from there was waiting for him to roll in Kurtis. There manager was classy after as you will find out if you see the football exlusives interview. He made no excuses and praised Welling although said he felt his side were on top for periods and were worthy of a draw.

Great win.. but its even better win if we can win on Saturday and keep it going.

At times they were comfortable and passed the ball they looked good without creating loads of chances. A bit like us in the play off final. Looks nice, strolling around keeping the ball, get to the final third.... but create chances and put it in the net or it counts for nothing.

Thought they were rubbish at their place but definitely one of the top 7 or 8 sides weve faced on tonights showing.

Interviews with Jamie Day and Man of the Match De'Reece Vanderhyde plus some highlights up over next day or two.

We're on top at the moment, but no clear chances for us. Acheampong just gave them a corner with an awful backpass. Mott made a good save after the corner.

I'll probably regret saying this, but the officials have been excellent so far. We possibly could have had one or two bookings so far for either, but I can't think of a decision they've got wrong yet.

First half low on quality, but not on effort.
Farnborough had a good spell for a few minutes after a patchy start. Last ten minutes of the half was more like our usual selves.
It makes a refreshing change for the opposition manager and players not to be berating the ref all match. The manager's certainly berating his players, though.
