Just been browsing through the Blue Square South site and it shows that Lafayette is just four off of the top mark for the leading goal scorer in the league. To be honest, I wouldn't have thought any would have been that high considering the in the last 3-4 months all of our goals have been coming from all the players on the field. Martin, Acheampong, Franks? All netting for the Wings and I thought everyone would be on around even terms at the minute in the team. Turns out Ross is up for a major award if he keeps going the way he is at the minute. Especially with that fine goal against Farny the other night.
Would certainly like a Welling player to win this. Just to top it off if we do go on to win the league. Wrapping up all the honours to show that we truly were the best side going this season. All the best for Rossco and the whole team for the rest of the season. COYW!
The maintenance of the BSS site isn't the best - from what I've heard on Salisbury's forum Jamie White has actually scored 20.
Ross has been a revelation and is top of my list for player of the season. Let's hope he can bag a few more and break this curse of not scoring more than one in a game!
