My dear old thing, we have one game that matters, the next one, when thats out of the way we have another to concentrate on. Forget other teams, just keep trying to win our next game, if we play as we have been... We will have a superb chance.
If you get up or down on other results you arent concentrating on the only game that matters... the next one. .
We have the best goals for the best goals against, the best wins on spin record of all time in the league, have won 11 on the trot at home...
The biggest point for me is for supporters to really raise the noise levels at PVR like its a cup final every game, its already a fortress and increased noise will spur the boys on and give them a lift and confidence.

As the other clubs need to win games, they are under huge pressure, Weve all seen Dover fans go mad when they dont win and then want a new manager as they didnt win a game or demand to win the champions league next season (Their chairman has just said the league title is WIDE OPEN haha).. Take a look at the Salisbury forum... their players are being labelled everything you can imagine from clueless to not giving a toss and playing the worst football ever seen by their fans....
None of us would swap with Salisbury or Dover, We dont need to play mind games, We dont need to rely on other teams results. All we need to do is, everyone stick together and keep kicking on. Our players havent done too bad have they this season after 30 games and a couple of wins in the Trophy against higher league teams.

Agreed and I would like to add that I may sit in the main stand but some people around me really need to stop having a pop a certain players and get there names right get behind them the players can hear "fans" calling them donkeys which is utter rubbish and people moaning about every little thing that happens on the pitch "DONT JUST KICK IT ANYWHERE" we have the best bunch of players the best management team weve had for many years this is our best chance to go up PLEASE get behind the boys whatever is happening on the pitch we have to be 12th man from now till the end of the season.
Agree with everything that has been said, especially the part with the atmosphere needing to be pumped up. But, its easy saying that we will do it but sometimes we never actually do. Some games we say that we're gonna do everything we can, we do for the first 20 minutes but after that its "WE'RE BETTER THAN THIS!" We need to make sure we are constantly doing everything we can for the lads. Any second of silence is an advantage for the opposition so we need to make sure we keep it in our favour and do whats possible for the Wings. COYW!
agreed you can make so much more noise when there is a roof. Will we need one if we go up? Some rule about there must be certain ammount of covered standing room?
Maybe we could all stand in a huddle covered by a few Welling United branded umbrellas?
The umbrellas are quite eye-catching I have to say, and interestingly a common conversation starter in the street. With people walking past and saying things like "They're playing well at the moment aren't they." Was using the umbrella in Bury St Edmunds recently and someone asked me if I played for the club! They actually looked disappointed when I laughed and said "no!..."
it's a joke when fans want a pop at the team even if there top league and won majority of there games? Some fans will never be satisfied even when all going so well. Welling dont need negative comments, players will here alot of stuff from the crowd and it needs to be positive regardless if there not playing well!
Welling are so close to achieving something fans would have maybe chuckled at years ago! winning the league!!!
