What were the games this season where the refs performances were really questioned? I can remember one in particular who baffled the crowd and many were shouting cheat.

Ive always maintained apart from a goal keeper the easiest way to rig a match is a ref. I am not saying they are bent that would be irresponsible,  ive seen very very very few who make me question their integrity, probably happens once a season where you think what are you doing there is no justification for the decisions going all one way... but in all walks of life there are good and bad and there are cheats.

I can remember one game thinking this is unbelieveable every single decision has gone to the oppo and hes allowing fouls a plenty against us cant remember which game though but remember at least one destroying us, can also think of one ref of our away games who made me think he was giving our oppo everything. Referees can give teams a big advantage by booking the oppo and giving free kicks all the time one way, thats without big decisions like penaltys coming into play.

The conferences statement is going to set tongues wagging, maybe if they have proper intelligence they should act on it rather than say.. we think there is some iffy betting going on and match fixing but we wont say anymore!!.

Very interesting stuff from our opponents tomorrow, earlier on in the season, regarding speculation over betting on their games:

3-2 at home v Dorchester? Arran Pugh could have been sent off about 3 times and I don't think he even got booked?

The statement seems to imply that a group of players are the guilty party, rather than a referee though

I think the game you mean is Havant at home. The one where Kiernan was taken out as obviously as you'll ever see in the last minute and we didn't get a penalty

Which is why the statement will set tongues wagging. Maybe its a public pack it in warning to those conspiring to lose matches to collect on bets. IF any are throwing games the sad thing is its probably only a few in the team, so if a club are found guilty they will all have the stigma on them.

I note that Chelmsford have been quick to put a statement on their website to say that they will co-operate fully in any investigation.

I wouldn't panic. It's just the bookies moaning that they lost a few quid.

They don't always get it right with less popular sporting events.

I remember when they first started taking bets on motor racing. There was a support race at the British GP at Brands in 1976 and they had the whole field at the same odds, probably because they didn't know their previous form. I got in early and backed the clear favorite at 18-1 and made a killing.

Bet 365 are letting me bet on Bath v Chelmo and Billy v Wings but Blue Sq won't let me. Basically the league's own sponsors are suggesting that the league may be corrupt. Mickey mouse/tinpot/shambles.

That is pretty bad ... Blue Square Bet don't take bets on their own competition ... the irony.
