Only other slot would be a late April Tuesday. Can't imagine much in the way of Welling numbers for that one.

ERM.... FGW say on Saturday...

Train services between London Paddington and the West of England will be diverted over an alternative route
and will start and terminate at London Waterloo instead of London Paddington. Passengers travelling between the West of England and Reading
should change at Basingstoke for train connections.

As Jamie said, the team is already down there, so if off on Saturday, best thing is to play it on Sunday, with a 1300  hr

kick off........

If game was off Saturday and was rearranged for Sunday who pays for additional expenses incured by the team? Would Truro be responsible or the club? Either way it could turn out very expensive.

It is going to be an expensive trip whether they stay over for the weekend or have to go down there again on a Tuesday in April.

If it was feasible I am sure the players and management alike would rather play the game this weekend than have to take more time off in April.

Yes i agree with Mr Wingnut, also the team will be fresh this weekend, after a night in a local hotel, instead of driving down on a Tuesday

night, after Saturday game. So if its a Sunday so be it, lets get behind the team..........COYW..

If the pitch is unplayable on Saturday it probably wouldn't recover by Sunday if the forecast I've seen is correct.

Looking at BBC Weather the worst two days are today and tomorrow with heavy persistnet rain a problem. Saturday and Sunday are fine, so hopefully one of the days over the weekend we will be able to play the game.

despite salisbury benifitting from west country refs killing us, am hopefull saturday sees a fair ref. at Weston cook killed us, gave pen outside box against us, also gave us nothing at dorch. Bath ref lets 11 push our players, one gets booked one gets sent off. also disallows goal for us. im sure its a coincidence theyve been west country refs gave us nothing . made game changing decisions against us and we lost......

I am from the West Country and find the above remarks highly offensive :D

Salisbury isn't considered "West Country" to actually .. er.. West Countrians

We better get used to this. Bad weather mixed with long distances will become more known to us in the Con Premier. Barrow, Gateshead etc.
