Million times, don't think that much, Ive watched a lot of centre of excellence football and it can be very hit and miss, at the very least you could come out with an educated statement! The lads going to be on the bench we have the best 18s for some time . With a reserve side in the pipe line, perhaps we should produce some players of our own, perhaps you could come on watch the 18's v gillingham at cray valley on Tuesday, if they get stuffed then you right be right
If you think anyone in the history of the time has ever meant "million times" in the context I used it literally then you are a fool. There's the educated statement you requested. Another in addition to the one I had already written that you choice to either misinterpret or only read selectively.
I was not saying the under 18's aren't any good, just not Conf South standard at this moment in time. I even put a couple of words in block capitals effectively in support of them. From what I know they are decent, but clearly not good enough YET, and that's clearly echoed by Jamie or he wouldn't have made this signing.
I too would like some Welling players to come through the system, but the final run-in of a potentially title winning season is not the time to blood a youngster who has probably never played senior/men's football and only ever junior football, whatever the level.

Shame Jamie does not use any of our under 18's? I'm sure there are 1/2 of our own that could warm the bench for a few games, Matt raffle, and Harry cullum did well againsta strong ebsfleet side in the kent senior cup!

I'm pretty sure Jamie knows all the under 18s, and sadly they aren't up to it AT THE MOMENT or they'd have featured during the season. I know nothing of this new signing, but clearly if he is on Northampton's books he is going to be a million times better than a Welling under 18 player.

never said they are good enough to start or be on the bench but don't you think the club should be looking to bring some youngsters through our record over the years is poor compared to many clubs at our level. I'm not a fool just a supporter of the youth set up. don't need him to be gentle with me, anyone who describes themselves as a " club legend" is a bit sad anyway.
