Message from Eric Brackstone, "Well done to all our supporters who travelled to Eastbourne yesterday. Your vocal support was outstanding (especially behind the goal). Keep it up lads, it's worth a goal start to our team.
BRILLIANT!!!!"
ONE ERIC BRACKSTONE! THERE'S ONLY ONE ERIC BRACKSTONE!
Far from me to be nasty to someone of your stature, someone who is a legend, someone we all respect, someone who wears his tie slightly to one side. I was made to listen to your interview the other evening as a punishment for trying to escape from the asylum. Can I just say that it was indeed an honor to tune my gramophone in to the relevant radio station and hear what you had to say. As mentally unstable as I am, I would like to congratulate you in hi-jacking the studio and promoting our club over the airwaves. Your slurred speech and lack of clear consonant delivery was in deed all I needed for medication for that evening. I've never fallen asleep so quickly. We in the institution for the mentally insane have put a picture of you up in the common room and have hailed you as our hero.
Reading your comments has made me feel a happy man as the sole intention of accepting BBC's invitation was to spread the name of our great club to a wider audience. Now realising it helped you get to sleep quicker, i feel this is an added bonus.
I trust you will be allowed out on Saturday to watch our team play Salisbury. See you there mate.
