I sent an e mail to BBC London yesterday and here is the reply I have received. I do not wish to bring up the Kent/London debate but any possitive coverage from whatever source must be an asset.

Having re read my email this morning think I was a little worse for wear when I sent it :)hic

Thanks David, never worry about getting in touch. I never make promises but I'll see what I can do.

Thanks, Sara

Hi Sara,

Just to let you know Welling United Football Club has all but gained automatic promotion to the Conference Premier next season. (Unless Salisbury City score 16 goals in 2 games WUFC go up).   I  understand they are Radio5 lives non league club of the season. I understand, as I said before when we had our little FA Trophy run, that it is impossible for you to cover all sport in Greater London. However I felt I had to bring this to your attention as we will be one of the smallest clubs in the football conference next season.
Very best wishes

David Crowther.

Does anyone know if there is a "Lack of Punctuation Translator" on the Internet that you can run some posts through on here to let you know what the feck SOME people are talking about?

This isn't aimed at anyone using at least some form of punctuation by the way!
