I have had a few people asking/messaging me as to why he was banned. I'm not going to list the reasons here (although a few of you will have some idea!) but if anyone wants to know then feel free to message me and i will let you know why.

It will have done him a favour as well as now he has more time to look for ghosts(as if they don't have a bad enough time without him coming to stay for the night).
Personally I'm disappointed. The close season will be a quiet period and his continual posts, often comedy gold, would have helped us all through. May I perhaps recommend a temporary reinstatement just for the months of May and June ??
As a fantastic motivational speaker I assure you his enthusiasm could do wonders for everyone (other than my self of course).
Until such time as he abuses the word Awooga I demand his reinstatement.

I see a certain somebody has now began to use the main website to make his comments on and seems to have managed to carry on from where he left off......unbelievable.
I don't know who, if anyone, moderates the comments on the official site but if I were them I would remove the comments section pretty sharpish. Comments and forums on the club's official site are open to enormous abuse and can get the club in serious trouble with the league and FA if someone were that way inclined.

Yep, they need removing sharpish - he'll give the club a bad name. When someone uses the argument "even the flower woman i know agrees with me" in order to back up their confused views, you know you're in trouble.

Which comes back to the point I was making the other day about banning people. A step only to be taken even handedly and even then with a certain degree of trepidation. Unless your moderator is technically savvy and has plenty of time to throw at it, the technically proficient and motivated can normally find a way round it.
If you doubt what I say ask JgFc as the discussion I had about stopping him if I had to boiled down to the fact that I couldn't but I could make it bloody expensive for him to continue. We did demonstrate to Bruno when he started moderating that it took 45 seconds to post from the same machine with an IP address from Gloucester, somewhere in the States and Vanuatu, hence the reason we now have log ons. There is a quaint notion that people should somehow 'play by the rules'. Motivated people don't, they use whatever holes you have left open, ask Microsoft!
The easiest way is to get everyone to ignore the posts providing they are not legally dubious. Eventually, if there is no return, people give up.
Out of a very strange(and potentially worrying)sense of curiosity I googled mr A and had a quick look at his Facebook page. If any more proof were needed that the man is a total wind up merchant and an eejit of the highest order,his reply to a potentially offensive picture of 'perhaps I should put this on the welling forum lol' should make us realise once and for all that we want nothing more to do with him. I know we always are looking for more support but I think we can do without him,and anybody like him,attending PVR.
