Players like..... Paul Lorraine coming back would be good, The kid at Sutton in midfield whos a beast and a player, Parky, A proven striker and the best of this squad.

Those will do me, i dont think you have to make loads of changes as then you have to gel. This squad deserve a crack so just add a sprinkling of experience who are still young and thats a winning formula.

 

I hope we dont get Sheringham even though Jamie has links with Bournemouth, he went all round non league chasing a poundnote, hes a class finisher but Jamie gets players with impeccable character thank the lord.

I thik its hard to say we should let this palyer go etc etc becuase number 1 they have all done well this season and deserve a shot at playing the BSP, AND NUMBER 2 it might be players a Jamie wants to keep,

As for players in its going to be hard to attract reconized confernce premier players in becuase of wages etc but I tihnk loan players will be the way forward so maybe we might have to wait awhile to find out

but saying that i think it would be good to pires in, and maybe look at players from Ebbsfleet and see who is released from Gillingham or Dartford maybe Bournemouth will let SHeeringham back out on loan would we like to see him back , We will be looked at us the whipping boys of the league next season but im sure we the squad togtherness we can surprise a few with the players we have already

Agreed about Sheringham - he gets plenty of moves due to his surname, not his ability.

Pughy of course would be the dream signing. The BSS has plenty of players who, given the opportunity, could do it at a higher level. If we can't get Pugh then could Frannie Collin be a possibility?

Who we bring in will obviously be dependent on who leaves, but whatever happens I'd like to see a proper left-footed left winger

Ollie Palmer, Slabber, Collin would all score goals in the premier, which would help Ross a bit. All depends who will play within our price range and who Jamie wants.

I agree with Tom's first post in reply to Marmite. I am just going to chill, enjoy the summer (if it arrives) and look forward to next season in the knowledge that Jamie Day and his staff will retain/sign/encourage the best available players as they have done over the past 3 years.

Those of you I don't see before have a great close season and see you at the Danson Show.

I sorry to say Squarevanman but I feel that there some players that are not ready for the prem yet and bring some in who is ready because I most of welling games this season and when waching them play I have seen some player's of the other team and thought that he good in how team and the prem.

I read in the NLP that he was man of the match for East Thurruck at the weekend. He's clearly a unit which is always useful at any level of football.

I think there will be more realism on budgets next year given the problems the likes of Hereford have had this year. This may well affect who we can afford. Also with the number of clubs below getting into strife there will just not be the options there may have been this season... although on past evidence there will be at least one club who comes upon a new wad of money and is prepared to spend it.

In terms of goalscoring midfielders in this league who could make a step up, what are people's thoughts on Nic Ciardini (Farnborough - not got a pot to p*ss in) and David Wheeler (Staines - just plain rubbish). Both young but with good first team experience and have hit the back of the net a fair few times this season. JGFC I assume you're referring to Harry Beautyman at Sutton? Saw a couple of comments on their forum saying that he could well move on. Again, young and knows where the goal is.

I know that some of you may not agree with me, but I think Jamie White from Salisbury would be a good player for us and be able to handle the prem, also I think that his wages wouldn't be that high.

Can't we just enjoy this season a bit longer before we move on to the next one?!

As I have said before we have no idea of the budget and whether some of the current squad can committ to more travelling.

I am sure Daisy has his own ideas and who he wants to keep and who he may want to bring in but there is plenty of time for that.

When Wheeler was at Lewes i thought he was going to go on to big things. When he signed for Staines i gave up on him.

He is indeed a very good player Marmite, but Salisbury are a full-time team and he has already signed a new contract with them for next season - I can pretty much guarantee he's on a higher wage than any of our players. Plus, Salisbury may well get promoted too, so no real reason for him to leave.

My comment was a joke. As I'm sure most people would realise. I certainly don't play into JGFCs hands, we've disagreed on more points than agreed upon in recent times.

I welcome new support of the club, and use of the forum in general, as long as its Welling related and by Welling fans.

Seasons just over, won the league but we are having arguments on here.

Excellent - few good disagreements and personal insults will keep us going over the Summer holidays.

Whatever happend to that dodgy Red Merlin I wonder.
