shame the way he has gone certainly got it but I tihkn he has either lost a little bit of pace or confidence maybe both i guess his level would ryman league will wish him all the best and thanks for his contribution this season
Seemed a top bloke and did score a vital winner against Staines, but am I being harsh when I say I think he is living on past glories still? Dont mean to be and good luck Jon.
Not necessarily living on past glories, but after his injury it was always going to be difficult to recapture his previous form. I was really pleased with his signing but he's not been prolific in a title winning team at Conference South level so it's hardly a surprise he's been released. He just needs another chance elsewhere and I'm sure he can score goals again.
Sorry to see any player go, but not reallly surprised with Jon, hardly picked to start - I dont think it will be long before he finds another club though.
Could see him going somewhere like Maidstone banging in a shed load of goals and having 2000 people chant his name week in week out!! He'd love that and Maidstone is a good night out!! Shame he didn't produce, showed moments of brilliance but wasn't given much chance!! Seemed to be his own doing though as his attitude at times.......standing talking when warming up, not turning up for training etc
Nice enough bloke wish he all the best

Not surprised at all - dare I say that I predicted this very early in the season. Never recovered from his injury and also sttitude was not right. Good luck to him though.
Bit much to say proved right he started about 2 games. Jamie obviously didn't fancy him or wasnt impressed and he's the boss and a bloody good one. Can see Jon getting 20 in the Ryman. Maybe he likes to party too much to be prolific at this level. Top bloke and good luck Mainy hope you come back and see the fans when you can.

Didn't work out at Welling but always seemed a nice bloke on the few occasions I spoke to him. Think he will do a good job for someone but like a lot of people have said maybe in the Ryman where Boothy has done a great job since dropping down
Good luck Jon and I'm glad we saw you in a Welling shirt.
Thamesmead obviously don't want to be a spare part in the Ryman Premier , a good signing for a club in that league .. still reckoned he do a job at BSS
Mainy will kill Ryman Prem defences if they use him as an out and out goal scorer, hes still a great finisher. Keith might have to put a GPS device on him though haha.
Good luck Mainy.
