Good luck to Ben and Scott both genuine nice guys and good servants to the club. will get snapped up quickly I think.
Will be interesting who and what type of player Jamie is going to bring in as he does appear to be making a start of rebuilding the squad by releasing players.

Seem to say it about all our players, but that's because it's true - they're thoroughly nice blokes.
Thanks to them for all their hard work. Kinchy never moaned about being on the bench for games but always did the job when required, and Big Ben was absolutely immense at times. I agree with the decision though - BSS is probably their level as they're not quite mobile enough, and neither are getting any younger. Best of luck to them wherever they end up.
So sad to see Ben and Scott go - both of them huge contributors to our championship success. If you ever wish to see disappointment personified, then Ben's face gave that away after the Dartford play-off final. So pleased that at least they have their championship medals, and they will stilll do a great job for whatever lucky team gets them. Good luck guys.
Ben was different class in the air but injuries have affected his movement. A winner and sweated blood for us and was superb end of last season Kinchy did well when he came in and wouldn't be surprised if Chelmsford offered him something.
Good luck to both champions.

Kinchy said to me it was 'hang up the boots time' although he then added...he had said that before....I wouldnt be surprised if he went back to Tonbridge
I think we all knew that players would depart. When I was walking around the pitch after the game I wondered which players I was talking to for the last time.
Scott Kinch, Jon Main and Ben Martin were all part of our best season this century and I wish them all well. I believe that they can all continue to do well at Conference South level if they find the right club.
Can't see any reason to get rid of Barney/JoeBo, both promising and hardly going to break the bank in terms of wages. Plus if Barney keeps developing the way he is then he may get snapped up by a league club with us getting some compensation.
McLaren is a good player but it'll still be a long time before he's back - has he even had his operation yet? Can't see us giving him a contract until he's able to prove his fitness.
Edit: Since found out he had his operation in February. Depends how long recovery takes, but I think we can get as good a full back in, minus the risk.

I'm surprised people are surprised. There are certain players for whom, the BSS is their natural level. I reckon there could still be 1 or 2 more leaving. In Daisy we trust.
I am surprised that Ben has gone, but I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does in the future. And just to remind everyone that he scored some important late goals to keep Welling on track for the title.
Matron and myself would like to echo the sentiments that have been posted regarding the players that will not be coming with us next season, and wish them all the very best unless they play against us at sometime in the future. Seven days ago I had tears running down the side of my extremely good looking face whilst experiencing something that I will treasure forever. Just a few days later and I find myself adjusting to how brutal and swift football decision making can be. No matter what my feelings are regarding the decisions being made, it shows that Daisey is able to make these decisions at a time when we are still on this 'high'. To let players go at this stage would suggest to me that he is confident of bringing certain players in who can surpass the ability of those who have left.
Good luck to both Ben and Scott in the future. This just makes me even more confident in what Jamie is doing, the team bond is so strong as we all know, but clearly Jamie has that management/player line very clear in his mind and is able to make decisions like this which can't have been easy with two of the biggest characters in the squad and within a week of being on such a high. Now in excited to hear news about who will be staying and who he will be bringing in.

If this was facebook I would have put a "like" next to Triggers statement. This is so true at the moment and players such as those we have released have done a fantastic job. However if we are to aspire to greater things next season Daisy must have other targets in mind. Its going to be an interesting summer
thanks to Big Ben and Kinchy, Gone but never forgotten. Best wishes for whatever you decide to do in the future, wonder who the Mrs will sponsor this coming season?
