Salisbury also have a whiff of arrogance about them - they still believe they are the best team in the league. Hopefully they're still in it next year so they can prove it.
Far too much of an effort for their fans to abide by the traditional principle of changing ends at half time. Plus the old codger who had the cheek to say to a Welling fan "Oh you're only here because it's sunny" at our game there - the fan in question is the chairman of our supporters association!

One of those games where I hope they both lose. I'll be cheering on Brackley Town for the North final. Just heard their manager on Five Live and sounds like they have an even smaller budget than us.

Family in the area so Brackley for me as well , Bar stays open during the game
Deffo smaller club than us , but a good club none the less in fairness
Got to be Salisbury for me. Dover too ****y by far and need taking down a peg or two. Anyone who heard their directors' comments when they were at our Chelmsford match would agree with me.

I often travel 100 miles to a pig shed in Wiltshire when the sun comes out! ... nothing better to do
I felt their "supporters" let them down on that day , I was running late and met 2 of their (what I consider) proper supporters on the train on the way down (ironically got on at Woking) spot on lads I have to say .. we all shared a cab tp the ground , threw about a bit of banter and had a good chat, one of them even bought me a cider in the bar before the game .... Proper stand up lads
However, what I felt let they were let down by the majority of their remaining supporters (including the so called "posh" ones who could afford a seat with a patio door to the bar)
"Your support is f*cking ****" etc .. Sorry for bringing 200 .. how many did you bring to PVR? 40 .. embarrassing away contingent considering it was game between the top 2

Dover don't all change ends either. Salisbury for me so we get Dartford for the Christmas fixtures.
It will be a large crowd whatever time of the year
Dover for me please
Easier for me to get to ... Abbey Wood station - Dartford station 10 mins .. 5 mins on bus / 15 minute walk job done .. less stress over the festive season

(Unlikely as it is to happen) I'd prefer Barnet
No trains on Boxing Day so 229 to Bexleyheath and 96 from there.

Salisbury gets it for the better beer trip. However I wonder whether their vehement advocate of our 'luck' over own goals and last minute winners sees it the same way for them tonight? With regard to the buffoon who commented to Mr Mein, he also said what we had taken to Salisbury was our entire home support, so
1) if you can mobilise your entire home support to an away game you are doing something right in the committment stakes, regardless of how many there are of you
2) were you one of the 175 in infamous crowd of 199 a few years back when we took at least 25?
Sorry, you came second fair and square, albeit aided by your own administrative incompetence. JOG ON!

I would prefer a Dover win but just fancy Salisbury home advantage to edge it.
I will be a Brackley Town fan for the day. Stayed there about 18 years ago with the kids and got chased by a group of swans who wanted our picnic. Seemed like a nice country town in those days hope it has not changed much.
Went to the Guiseley v. FC Halifax Town semi. FC Halifax well worth the win - strong in midfield and forwards incisive. IWould not be surprised if they get through.
