Spending money now would be closing the door after the horse had bolted. We were Joint top loads of money available and players injured. The Owners did NOTHING. Those are facts and i will not elaborate. This season will be remembered yet again for lack of ambition and poor control of the club. The Players and Manager did superbly until the statement of top half will be great when we were joint top came out, another fact i will not elaborate on.
I say they should spend NO Money now and go for it next season as they said. If not they should go, but i have heard they will be leaving for the south west to retire in a couple of years, so are cup runs merely boosting retirement funds.?
They had a great chance this year and pocketed the dosh. It was ever thus at PVR.

St Albans have been the in form side for the last couple of months, a fact which may have been missed. It was always going to be a tough fixture especially with the return of Luke Howell to Gillingham and the injury to Steve Perkins.
Its a bit early to be saying we are in freefall. There is no doubt that we are going through a lean spell but it takes several losses to go into freefall - our reserve 'chute lines may be tangled but we still have several thousand feet in which to untangle them before we hit the deck. Weymouth have only taken 6 out of the last 12 points available to them are they in freefall too?
