I think we'll get some news this week, fingers crossed. And I wouldn't say we normally have players sign on the dotted line by now - it's only one day after the playoff final. I don't remember the equivalent day last season being filled with news of signings?

We probably won't have much of a budget to actually purchase players for this level, however alot of players will be released by clubs over the coming weeks.
Competition for playing contracts are tougher than ever, with budgetary restraints across the leagues.
The squad showed in the FA trophy last season that they can compete at BSP level. We've so far managed to retain the majority of the squad. It's just a case of having to strengthen the squad in depth.
Given the club's location and transport links, we may be fortunate enough to have the odd player (particularly those with work/personnal committments) come to us, as opposed to us go to them.
I'm very sure Jamie knows what he's doing. I'd rather Jamie got one decent player on deadline day, than several donkeys in the first week.

Normally we would have had about four key players signed up by now as Daisy did not usually hang about. I guess though that was BSS and a different approach is needed now.
True, AW - but I think last year was the sole exception. It just seemed that one player signed and six more followed within days! I do hope, as you suggest, we have some good news this week - I'm getting bored with threads about ticket prices, shirts, best teams of all time etc - important as they are.
I would imagine a few will sign in the next week. Names flying about but rightly its all hush hush until deals are done and the signature is filed with us.

Hopefully tori will be banned and Polo or Bruno can confirm they are a persistent stirring troll who has a record of being banned on here and creating many names.
I know Bruno posted that it may need reports to go to ISP's as its all logged on here over the years.

As previously said, Frannie Colin looks likely to sign for Maidstone. He has a job away from football that doesn't allow him to commit to huge amounts of travelling.

Is it right that he can just ridcule me in nearly every post I make, he take a dislike to someone and then thats it until that person just gives up or ends up getting banned,
All I have said is Frannie Collin is available and I have heard we might be interested, someone else has since made another thread asking the same sort of question but I do not see anyone asking for him to be banned
