All this talk about the ground and the bar and the segregation and everything else reminded me that I was once told that the building that is the EB&Q bar is in fact a mothballed stand - under the corrugated roof its ready to have seats put in etc.

Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or was it just wishful thinking/bollocks?

I think the new stand was built about 6 feet (or metres?) too low than originally planned. If you look now you see you couldn't build seats above the EB&Q bar with it being flush with the current seats - it would have to be higher. Also why the disabled seating is too low.

My personal view is a seperate "PVR trust" should be set up with representives of WUFC, E&B and the council and be responsible soley for ground improvements at PVR - will iit happen problally not.
