Apparently, Jamie Day has been called up as a late replacement for Arsenal legends' trip to Barbados.

Other 'legends' include goalkeeper Vince Bartram and our old made Ian Selley.

Have fun Jamie!

I suspect the distance from Barbados to Bermuda is somewhat substantial, but it would have been great if Jamie could have watched the England C match beforehand and had a word with Anthony and Fraser!

This is all very nice...but we still only have 8 players...am I panicking or should I be worried......I just though although obviously naively that they would all jump at playing in the Prem

I'm worried too, all the other teams in the league seem to be further ahead than Welling. Did read that Grimsby are only going with 18 men and currently have only 13. But would like to see AA, FF, SM and RL signed in the next 2 weeks as they are key players and would be hard to replace.

Fazakerley, Obersteller, Clarke, Day, Dyer, Gallagher, Healy, Hughes-Mason, Guthrie, Pires is more than eight.

Stop panicking. Don't forget that when we signed Cumbers and Pugh we had to wait for their Gillingham contracts to expire (30/6) before it was announced.

There is plenty of time.

Mmmmm...yep ok.....need a 25 goal striker if Roscoe isn't signing and a couple of centre backs would make me feel happier!!

Where exactly are we going to get this 25 goal striker and, more to the point, how could we afford one?? Has RVP or Gareth Bale expressed a desire to come to PVR??  If you know please keep it to yourself as every club in the league will want him.

I would love Ross to sign but he wasn't a 25 goal striker in the league below so we need to share the goals around with other forwards/midfielders.

Offer Cambridge £300 a week for a season loan of Andy Pugh with no call back, saves them being lumbered paying 30-40k for someone who they dont fancy.

Perhaps the players we want to sign are waiting for our Conference Premier status to be confirmed fully and finally at the league's AGM on Saturday with t's crossed etc?  Also, could it be that the signing of some players could be underpinned by gate revenue from the Charlton friendly?

Could have other offers to consider? We had a great season I'm sure many clubs will try and snap up some of our players?

This is on Sky Sports 3 at the moment. Arsenal just finished their group games, Daysy featured quite a bit.

Some big names playing, including Brian Lara for Manchester United
